Your (young) age is on your side. You can improve your chances by losing weight slowly/gradually, while getting exercise (weight training may be especially helpful). The gradual loss may help your skin tightening keep up with your weight loss - be aware that your skin could keep tightening up for as much as a couple of years, based on anecdotal reports.
Beyond doing what you can to lose weight slowly, getting exercise, and eating healthfully, it's somewhat down to genetics. But like I said, youth helps. If you look at photos in the "success stories" forum, you'll see quite a few younger people (and a good number of older ones) who've lost substantial weight and don't have much loose skin in the long run.
Wishing you success!1 -

Thats great to hear! I feel like I could hug you2 -
What I also found helped (and I'm an old broad
) was lots of body moisturizer. Helped keep the skin supple as I dropped the weight.
And I agree with AnnPT77 - slow and steady is definitely the way to go. Be patient - your body didn't adapt to being overweight overnight and the reverse is true, too.
The rest comes down to genetics.1 -
You may, you may not. But your body will be so much healthier. Slow and steady is good, lots of water and lotion helps.1
