Hi!
As the title suggests I'm thinking about trying LCHF to see if it suits me. I'm 28, 164cm and 63.5kg - I would like to lose a couple more kgs but mostly trying to find a way of eating that suits me and that I can continue long term.
Anyone currently on this kind of diet or who has tried it before could you please point me in the direction of some good (scientifically backed) resources so I can learn more about it, and if there's any websites you use for good recipe ideas etc I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you

Scientific sources that show you what about the keto diet?0

I didn't do anything special, just ate smaller portions. I've lost 70.2 lbs in exactly 1 yr. and with no exercise. You have to be in a calorie deficit.0

I don't think the keto diet is what I'm after - I just want to read more about LCHF in general - from what I've read on the forums I don't believe this has to be keto? I don't want to jump into something without learning more about it!0

Also I have already lost weight, that is not my aim with regards to this thread. As I stated in my original post I just want to learn more about LCHF to maybe try it and see if it suits me.0

Definitely try the Low Carber Daily group linked above. They are a helpful bunch and they have a huge list of resources in their sticky posts.1

Low carb has helped me. I could never quite adjust into full on "keto adaption " but have found a happy low carb range that helps me stay feeling satisfied. There is a fairly nice, comfortable range in the "low carb" plan. I went fairly strict low carb and slowly added more to find my favorite tolerance level.0
