I like bikes so I'm a biker and oh yea a father and a grandfather and the owner of two businesses and I have a house with ocean on three sides of it along with an 80 foot pier and a boat and 2 motorcycles. It's not sons of anarchy, I haven't kidnapped a baby all week..
Baby Kidnappings are so 2013 anyway.5 -

Do bikers have an alternate life? Like a job, a home and family?
Because I always see them in the biker bar, playing billiards and lot of women with daisy duke shorts. Please tell!!
I wouldn't say there's anything "alternate" about my life. I have a good job, family, grand kids even. I'm the same person at work, home, or on the road. I attend motorcycle events because they support a lot of good charities and provide entertainment and comradery at the same time. I like the open air and the freedom of riding. One rule I have though, whether I'm riding or driving, I'm not drinking. Spend a little time with a few bikers. You'll probably find they have some good stories to share.4 -

Cheeseburgers, hot dogs and pizza oh my! Yup, yesterday I over indulged, big time! Today I will do better.
Living the dream.
Simple solution: put on enough muscle that you can eat pretty much whatever you want lolCutaway_Collar wrote: »Let's do a Q&A:

I am a single dad raising two kids. I am an engineer. I am a hunter. I am a gym enthusiast. I am a biker that has put over 11k miles on my bike this year, in spite of missing 7 weeks of riding due to wrist surgery in the late spring and a wreck in late summer.
Let me give you a few pointers. CSI isn't indicative of life in law enforcement. West Wing isn't indicative of life in the White House. And Sons of Anarchy isn't indicative of actual bikers.
Hell, I haven't shot anyone in at least several weeks...

I ride, rarely wear leather, don't have a single tattoo, wear a helmet with a full face shield and nearly all my shirts have the sleeves in tact.
That said, I think the bow ties should only be worn by 4 yr olds going to church Easter Sunday.6 -

I ride my own Harley and certainly do NOT wear daisy dukes. As a matter of fact none of my friends do. How do you think we acquired these motorcycles, with no job and a welfare check?? I do have a job, a home, a husband, kids and grandkids. I even have some animals but love the wind therapy a bike ride offers. By the way what are you doing in a biker bar?? You certainly don't fit the profile, LMAO

The first thing I thought of when daisy dukes were mentioned was some pretty nasty road rash pics I have seen in the past. I would never wear any type of shorts while riding because of that, plus knowing my luck I would burn my leg on the pipes.0 -

I agree! I was a nervous wreck when I had forgotten my boots, and had to wear jeans and flip flops once!

OK, @Cutaway_Collar we won't tag you during business hours. Should that be my business hours or yours?
