You should be proud of yourself for that. I'm going to guess that there was a point when you didn't do even that, right? We all start somewhere and all work our way up. I've mentioned many times that when I started I did two sets of 5-6 bodyweight holding-onto-a-chair lunges and could barely walk for days.3 -
I do the deadlift weight up, sit on bench, slowely slide into thrust position.
could you ask another gym member to place weight on you when your hubs ain't there?
not ideal, but you can thrust on a smith machine..
Thanks for the suggestion but I lift at home.
I can't deadlift as much as I can thrust. But did roll my bar up on little pieces f wood we have today and was very careful be it worked! I could thrust 85lbs. Now I just need to get a cushion for the bar so j can lose the pillow and the bumper things so I don't have to mess with the wood☺️
Use a women's bar (approx 35#) and two 25# bumper plates = 85#. I like the 25# bumper places better because they are thicker and less wobbly like the 10# bumper plates.0
