    Happy National Pie Day everyone!

No Pie day is March 14

Yeah but that Pi Day isn't the deliciously edible kind...THAT Pi Day doesn't come with nearly the amount of calories as today's Pie Day

I always ate pie on pi day.

And now we have TWO days where we can completely justify having as much pie as we want!!!

    Ahem...3

Or July 22 if you want to get closer

FTR, we have 365 days where we can completely justify having as much pie as we want. The justification is, "I'M AN ADULT!!!" :)

I found out I'm an alternate candidate for admission to grad school at UC Colorado Springs!

    Awesome, congratulations!!

If you're not from Colorado, you need to take up hiking.

    We expect pictures.
I would love to hike all the time, I just don't have anyone to go with and I feel like it's probably unwise for me to do it alone. But one of the vets we're helping out now is with Colorado Parks and Wildlife so he said to give him a call and he'd show me all the good spots haha.

Today is Beth's birthday. She's at a spa near where I work. We're going out to see a Mountaineers lecture tonight at Benaroya Hall and some kind of fancy dinner. Haven't figured that out yet. We have a bottle of Lost River merlot left.

Could you just seal the fireplace so they don't get in the house, and put something on the top after they fly out at night?

When waggle my eyebrows at people, it does not lower the price of anything. I just get weird looks.

Hate to be the one to say these, start a lower (small) fire in the fireplaces with lots of smoke. It should drive them out with hard to them (hopefully) but if their protected, you may as while just embrace your battiness.

It's hard to feel sorry for someone with 7 chimneys.
