We have them here. Have never seen them but have heard them celebrating a kill plenty of times. Its macabre.
I have found them in my backyard ( once in six years)
It's common knowledge here, don't leave small dogs or cats outside overnight.
Also, Hawks have been known to swoop down and take small dogs from their leash, both never to be seen again.
