I've spent a few nights here. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get to! See the tent in the lower right?

Ugh, enough with the pictures. It's giving me wanderlust and I'm too poor to go anywhere.

Train jumping is the cure for wanderlust!

I don't mind the cold, but I love mountains and outdoors and natural beauty. And fun!

The ocean just doesn't do it for me.

I have more fun in the mountains but I love relaxing near the ocean as well. I'm lucky enough to live near both.

I live in Seattle so we have salt water a few miles from our apartment, and open ocean not too far away, but I never go out there.

All these pics are making me homesick. :'(

A little cold is ok. Frostbite lose your toes cold is too cold for me. If Yeti might live there it's probably too cold.

Beth and I like to rent a cabin in Winthrop, with a hot tub on the deck. You can sit out in the falling snow in 104* water and then go cool off every now and then.

Here in Seattle, it doesn't really snow, or it's very rare and never sticks around. We just get these bleak, rainy winters. The sky is always gray and overcast. It's almost never colder than 40 but it's usually wet. Just dreary. Then on the other side of the mountains, it can get bone chilling cold, but it's usually bright and sunny. And holy crap that's a relief!
