Hi there! I am 5"8, and honestly my goal weight is 170 for now. I'm not interested in getting "thin". I gained about 25 lbs after having my daughter, and in the last few months I was diagnosed with diabetes type 2. I started around 207 and I am now at 195 (diabetes meal plans do that), so I want to drop another 25 lbs and see where everything is at. I have pictures of me when I was about 150-160, and I don't want to get any smaller than that. I'm good having a little bit of thickness.2

I'm 5'2, and 47 years old...my goal weight was originally 115, but when I reached 120 (six months ago) I decided that was enough weight lost, more would be too much. I've been playing with the same two pounds back and forth since, which I think means successful maintenance..lol!4

Hi Cassie, I am your height and anything from 125-140 looks good on me, in different ways, but I feel healthiest around 135. On me that's about 35-29-38, I'm very small busted, and thin bones but medium frame. I think your 135-140 sounds really reasonable.2

I am 5 foot 2 inches, and my goal weight for my body type is 110 lbs! I am currently 124.0
-
5,0", current 122. My "happy weight" is anywhere between 115 and 110.0
-
5' 10" with a goal weight of 145, so we're in similar situations. I'd say our goal weights are on the lower end but still not nearing being underweight.1

5'4" and my goal is 140-145. This actually puts me in a size 6. (Not vanity sizing) I think the most important thing is that you are healthy and fit. Whatever that number may be. Better to be at a slightly higher number with muscle tone than a lower one and just be skinny.0

5'5 and 125 pounds0

5'6" aiming for anywhere in the 140-150 range.0

I am 5'0" and my goal range is 100 to 130 pounds, depending on how I feel and look once I get there. 130 is the top of a healthy BMI for me and 95 is the bottom ideal for me. Depending on how I feel once get down there, I might try to stay at 112, which is right in the middle of 130 and 95.1

High 165 sm (probably 48 kg), goal weight- I don't have goal weight, I want to build muscles and lose fat.1

I'm also 5'9". Our range as far as BMI is 125-169.
I've been at the low end of that range and went as high as 163 in my 55 years.
The best weight for me was 138-142 range.
I'm currently 149. I lift now which I didn't in the past so I'm open to weighing more than my goal if I like what I see in the mirror.2 -
I'm 5'2" and my goal weigh is 110-115. I started at 210 and am currently 119.2
-
5'6". Currently weigh 128. My goal weight range is 115-120. I've spent most of my adulthood in that range until the last 3 years when stress and anxiety got the best of me.0

I am 5'8 and at my aesthetic goal of soft but strong
My scale shows I weigh 160lb +\- 3lbs dependent on exercise, hormones, sodium (my carbs are consistently high so I don't get that particular water fluctuation)
I used to care about the number and think it mattered
It doesn't ..
my body looks great (to me and mine) at this weight2 -
Im 5'7.5" and my goal is to get to the healthy weight range my doctor gave me of 145-165. As long as Im in that range I dont care where as long as my clothes fit well. Im more concerned with getting my bf% down to 25% or lower, currently bouncing between 26-27%0

I'm 5'2"
Goal: 108-114lbs
Current: 108.6 lbs
Yeah. Whenever someone loses weight, people start up with the "too skinny" nonsense. When I was 130-ish lbs down the road, a friend said I looked worriedly thin, even though at my height, that's the upper end of a healthy BMI. Not to mention, said friend is only an inch taller and weighs/weighed in the 130's too. As leggup said, it's a typical response to change. Do what you can to explain that your goal weight is still healthy for your height, and if really comes down to it, don't talk about losing weight; just act on it instead.2 -
5' 11 and my goal is 200 #, then I will reconfigure my expectations....0

Good work! Keep in a healthy BMI. I'm 5'5 136ish and want to be between 125-1300

I wish I knew. I've never been a healthy weight as an adult. I am 5'3 or 5'4 and I think I'd feel pretty awesome between 135-150 at my best guess. I've been as high as 265 and am currently 203.0

I'm 55 years old and 5'9". I've lost 30 pounds already. I'm shooting for 170. It is a workable number and is number I can sustain. I have to be reasonable.0

F 5-7". My goal was 150 which I hit and realized I need to be more like 135 to lose the belly and thighs.0
