Congratulations on the weight loss but I hope you are checking in with a doctor or something.
There can be definite side effects to losing 4 pounds a week. That much stress on your body, immune system and endocrine system could be dangerous. The last time I saw that much weight loss was after someone had surgery.
2 posts with the first visit in June? So not tracked on MFP and no indication of how you did it.12 -
yeah it's all a bit weird really.4

I am happy to share how I lost the weight. On March 9, 2016 I had gastric sleeve surgery. At that time I weighed 337lbs and I knew that I was going to die if I did not do something drastic. I have a beautiful little 3 year old girl who I was not going to let grow up without a mom, so I took action.
I know that weight loss surgery has a stigma, but it is honestly just a weight loss tool. My body does not physically let me eat and binge the way I used to. But, in addition I was forced to make some drastic life changes. I started with my diet. Today I eat about 90-100g of protein a day. This is such a change for someone who is a recovering carb addict! I eat very little if any carbs and/or sugar and I make sure to drink a minimum of 64 oz of water a day.
For exercise I started out by walking. I slowly increased my distance to the point I was walking 3-5 miles per day. Now I am training for a half marathon and lift weights 2-3 days per week.
I still have 35lbs to lose before I hit my goal weight of 175lbs (I am 5'11") but I am sure I will get there soon.
If anyone has any questions about gastric sleeve surgery or anything else, please feel free to ask!28 -
