Yes I do struggle with that a bit. I have my "Mom pouch" still big time (love high waisted jeans lol!) so if I had not had children I'm not sure how it would be. I do have those turkey wing flaps a bit on my arms and a bit on my thighs and back that's loose, but I'm hoping to tighten it up a bit with this strength training! Had I been doing the strength training all along, I don't think everything would be nearly so flabby- I just didn't have an opportunity to do it until now! I will be posting update pics in 6 weeks when I'm done with week 12 of my program so we will see how it does on my flab! Lol best of luck to you!

That's awesome!! It's definitely not easy at all...hell its not even easy to maintain but you will definitely look back once you hit your goal and be happy you pushed through all the obstacles and stuck with it!

Been pretty bad this week with my eating when I had a 4 day weekend...back on the meal plans and gym plan tomorrow! Most important thing isn't whether you fall off or take a break for a bit...it's making sure you get back on it and don't make it a habit!3

Been feeling unmotivated with the holidays coming up, but I'm trying to power through these last 3 weeks of my training plan before I relax a bit for the holidays! Agh!1

I usedwhat was suggested at first, but honestly 1200 calories is really not enough for most people, that's just kind of a generic number which is the lowest amount anyone should be eating, but I did some research on that and it's usually too low! I was losing a bit, but once I raised my calories to 1500 I stared losing much faster! It was pretty amazing how much of a difference it makes when your body doesn't think it's starving! As far as macros, I did 30% protein and 35% carb and 35% fat for quite a while, and that worked really well for me. Now that I'm doing strength training I am doing 40% protein and 30% each of fat and carbs...I actually think I would have had even better results with that while I was losing weight- I think eating higher protein really does some great things for people!7
