    I'm 5'5" :-)

    SW 250
    CW 145
Goal weight: I'm at it. 135-150 depending if I'm cutting or bulking. This is the "safe" range I've given myself for building muscle and cutting fat

First goal is 170ish. Then probably 150 as the final goal. I'm really un-naturally muscular for a woman and would look awful if I got down as low as 125.

What does this even mean? If you have lots of muscle and you get super lean, you look awesome...not awful!

My goal weight was 150 but I still have quite a bit of chub... I'd like to build lean muscle and loose more fat... Looking more at inches for progress now.

Just under 5'6" (is that close??)

    SW b4 mfp 240
    SW (on mfp) 220
    CW 158
    GW 144

However I think 135 may be better but we'll see. I lift and work in a physically demanding job so who knows what will look best. Will keep evaluating while I lose the weight.

I worded that incorrectly. I would absolutely love to be very muscular and super lean. I was around 125 at 15 years old, and I have gained a lot of muscle along with the fat since then. Somewhere in my mind I was thinking that to get down to 125 again, I would end up losing so much of the muscle I have worked hard to build and now maintain. Instead of a muscular lean woman, I was imagining myself as I was then.... a gawky somewhat skinny-fat teenager.

I initially thought I would be comfortable at 145, but at 155 I still have a lot of fat too lose. I will reevaluate after the next 10 pounds. Good luck everyone!

I'm quite surprised at how low some of the goal weights are, to be honest. Maybe it's an age thing. I was a tiny little thing until my early 20s when it all went wrong ;) After years of being plus sized, I now feel pretty svelte at around 140 and size 8-10. It's all relative.

IMO, more like a basic build and muscularity thing, or a preference thing, or maybe all of the above. At age 60, with neither hips (much) nor breasts (at all), I was very far from svelte at 140 - but I'm not at all doubting that you are. There is quite a wide range of body types!

I didn't say I was svelte, just that I feel it after being fat for a long time. I certainly thought I was fat when I hit 140 on the way up, but it looks a lot better on the way down!
