Big brah gave me a warning. It upset me so much. So I am in brooks brothers right now, treating myself.
Whatever. I just did a scan to see what else you do in these threads...it seems like you like to start trouble, attacking OP's over "non fitness" threads (in chit chat??!), and then throw flags. Have fun with that...I hope it gives you lots of satisfaction. Blah

...and "ahem" ...MFP, when I have someone "on ignore" it should not show me that they made comments. Ever. They should be totally invisible. Thank you for your consideration lol1

I wouldn't know what a dark side is coz I'm nice to everybody
You're right. Sarcasm is nice.... lol I think it literally means "to cut" Although your sarcasm has never been offensive, and is clearly sarcasm. I never know what someone is really thinking, but you just seem to be having fun1 -
i just accept anyone and then periodically do a friends list cleanse once in a while to get rid of the uglies3

Lol...love it ^^^
Sometimes if I have no idea who they are I leave them for a bit to see if they hang around ..
Im getting much better at the periodical cleansing of friend list. If they don't interact in any way ..GONE..

If the send another...I delete. If they keep sending them I'll either send a note saying clearly I'm not accepting the request or I block them. You can do that from a fr1 -

You're cracking me up...I know it's not that interesting. And really the question isn't who to accept, it's what to do with the ones that you aren't accepting. But I think people are giving a lot of good insight to how it works and what to do. For now, I've deleted the "queue" and we'll see where it goes from there...lol

Is the "block" feature on the app? On my browser, I don't have it unless they actually send a message. Next request that comes through, I'll check through the app0 -

The block feature is on the browser if they send an fr. I've done it I dislike the App.. Ok I have no room for it really. I have messaged someone with lots of friends to tell them to stop sending requests cause they have enough friends already. I'm rude3 -

I deny friend collectors and/or delete them, once I realize; that they're! It isn't rude because most likely, they won't interact with you much; if at all but'll expect you to praise/sympathize all of their posts!2 -

I hate that!! "Wait, I don't even know you, why am I supporting this silliness?" lol I feel like it's the friend collectors who are being rude. You're just a number to them anyway.

Works like a charm, my only friends on here are my husband and my girlfriend who got me on MFP years ago who can't for the life of her stop getting pregnant long enough to lose weight. And my husband is obligated.
lol okie dokie then ;-) Honestly that's me most days... I joke I can only handle one friend at a time (in real life) and since I'm married, everyone else just has to go...

I have zero friends on here a few pending with me no intentions of accepting coz I don't log my food anymore Im not so good in supporting people and I don't post anything on my wall. I respond on chit chat or pms no need for friends list
I was on MFP for 2 years before I did any "friending" of any kind - and I was totally unaware of the message boards. It's definitely not necessary to have a friend list. I don't do an open diary so I honestly don't know what the benefit would be of being my MFP friend, but I like to offer support to those who want it
The simplest thing I can describe of having 'friends' on mfp is: When they log their exercise, I see it, and I think, "I should do something too." If your self-starting motivation is strong, you don't need any 'friends' on mfp.1 -

You, too? It must be the Brooks Brothers attire.

I'm kind of new to the friend thing on here. I have accepted everyone who has sent one so far. Is there a reason why I shouldn't? It just seems like it isn't a big deal if they are on my list or not. I must be missing something.0

Eventually you'll weed out the keepers ..its nice to have a group of friends that interact and cheer you on. Some will forget you pretty quickly though.I guess nothing wrong with the non active but they are kind of taking up space for someone who might turn out to be a great friend...Good luck ..4 -
