    That's really great. Congratulations. We have similar stories I think as I was on the couch last October and just tested a mile at 6:49. I didn't know anything about the C25K program. I just did it on my own. My new goal is to run a mile in under 6 minutes. That way I'll be as fast as my 12-year old twins.

    Back in high school I used to run a mile in under 7 minutes. Although I am a long way from reaching that goal, it's a goal in the distant future. Doesn't mean I want to run that pace all the time, just once in a while! So I hear you!!! Congrats!!!

    great work! I used to run under 7 in high school and college. Now I am struggling to get back to that. It amazing how easy things are when you are younger!
