They were, however, delicious.
Because the election. People are exhausted and emotionally drained, no matter what side you voted for.
I voted for the meter to hit and take them all out, Congress too. Interesting fact: a group of babboons is called a Congress.0 -
I have no idea what to have for dinner. Any suggestions: high protien, lots of veggies. I'm open to suggestions.0

Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson in a movie together?!
I love both of them too. I'm crossing my fingers it'll be good. I know if Samuel L. Jackson begins a long rant that means he's going to die. The poor dude has been killed in so many movies, I kinda feel bad for him, but he always gives the greatest speeches before he kicks the bucket. The Beast and I are going to see at the drive in this weekend.4 -

Ryan Reynolds & Samuel L Jackson.... I kinda don't even care if it's good, chances are I'm not going to pay too much attention other than starting at those two watching it initially. Although, I can't imagine with those two that it could even be close to not being excellent.0 -

Cool! So fun to hear the different uses for common words!
Root(s) still makes me laugh so much! I will never wear my Roots sweatshirt again and think the only funny thing about it is the beaver logo!
I am Canadian, as you know, and I never say supper...it's dinner and 'tea' is a drink to me (and it is hot when you say tea, if it's cold it's 'iced tea'!)0 -

I noticed my ex never said supper so maybe its more because his mother was older.(a generational thing maybe)
Ikr..I laugh at "root" too when americans say it and "fanny"0 -

I say supper or dinner, depending on whatever my brain decides to say that day.
I always wondered what the difference is for people saying 'supper' and 'dinner'....maybe it's just your family and friends?
Always dinner to me!0 -

Always dinner to me!
In parts of the US, I've heard people call their midday meal "dinner". Blew my mind for awhile when I would hear people call lunch "dinner"
