You call it supper, I call it pop. Who the *kitten* cares?

    Ohhhhh this should be fun

I dad and grandpa got in a very heated debate over supper about soda/pop one time

    *dons internet battle armor*

its just coke. its all coke.

"ay bro what kind of coke you want?"

"thanks man lemme get a pepsi"

also i don't call it dinner or supper tbh i usually just say "im gonna eat later" or "what ya'll wanna eat later" or something like that

Coke is coke....this is the most confusing thing I've ever heard. It was news to me until I learned that some people call every kind of pop coke.
So like Sprite and grape crush is coke?

    Just say "drink" instead.

haha yep sorry for being born in the south i'll have to work on that lol

Yep, you should work on that! Lots of luck to you!

Speaking about the South...makes me want to start the debate over slang terms for Americans...

There's more than one? I thought it was just "Yanks"

Yep, I agree, all yanks, except for Californians, I separate them out as a sub group.
But then you hear all the different slang, "Prarie dwellers" pretty straight forward, "hillbillies" I'm not sure what region this refers to, and I think there should be a regional slang definition for Alaskan and Hawaiians, yank doesn't seem right

    OK...!!
    New Yorkers are NOT "Yanks"...!!!
    "Yank" THIS...!!!

Get over it! You ARE a yank!!

Or do you have your own sub group and if so what is it?

Is there a term for French Canadians?

Hmm, Frog is the only one that comes to mind.
Or Quebecer, but that might just be me.

    That sounds dirty.

Most people use "yank" as a term for anyone from the US (which is very common to do) and they don't use it in the traditional way as if they had said "yankee," meaning being from the New England states.

Lol. Is it bad that this is pretty much what I imagine every New Yorker sounds like? Just yelling all the time. "I'm walking here!"

Please, PLEASE, PUH-leeze understand that I was being completely facetious! Certainly not yelling! It was meant in the best sense of fun...

I've been sitting in my car outside of Target trying to work up either the energy or courage to go in. Is this what anxiety feels like? Or is this just being a tired mom? Either way I'm considering just buying what I need online from the parking lot so i can go home.

    What did you decide?

Dang now I want a coke, yes a actual Coke from McDonalds

YES!!!! Nothing beats a McDs Coke!

Now..... this is getting interesting because the coke at fastfood chains is FAKE COKE. Real coke is despenced from a closed/ sealed vessel; such as a can or bottle preferably glass bottle it tastes the best ;)

When opened gives a refreshing sound of sssshhhhh. Which is part of the coke drinking experience!

So I can go home now?

Depends on whether or not I can convince you to pick up a few things for me.
