Man this volunteer stuff I applied for must be desperate. I hadn't replied so they followed up, I sent my references and they immediately got in touch with them and just submitted my info for the criminal check! Guess I'll be driving people soon3

There’s a commercial that keeps playing where this lady is talking about how some guy stepped in to be her dad and then gave her away at her wedding. With tears in her eyes she says, “That was the first time a father chose me as a daughter.” And I’m wondering how often this happens to her. 🤔6

I was thinking about the fact that our brain is not hard wired for life after childhood. It can change, reorganize neural pathways, etc. That is an exciting, hopeful thought for those of us who struggle mentally.5 -

I was thinking about the fact that our brain is not hard wired for life after childhood. It can change, reorganize neural pathways, etc. That is an exciting, hopeful thought for those of us who struggle mentally.
Yes, I remember when they used to believe that after a certain age there was no longer the ability for brain change. But now we know that neural pathways continue to be made. Excuse the bad wording, I’m getting a migraine0 -
