I'm wondering why some threads get closed and some dissappear altogether, and quickly.
I understand why they get closed, but what's the difference between that and the ones that vanish?

Most forums go thru a cycle like the one you all are talking about.. it's almost as if forum users are generational based on the time period they are active, the feel of the personalities of the users, the content of the times, current trends..
It's interesting and it can ebb and flow.. or just ebb and die. Usually there's a long extended sickness before death.. lol0 -

AND may I add, sometimes we fall for this because we want to romanticize that maybe just maybe we might be different and special to them and that's why we keep letting them come back but in actuality we're not. Perhaps to an extent but it's under their own benefit. One thing we must remember though is that we are special and important. Don't let no one water you down.5 -

Whats on my mind. Sometimes I can be paranoid. But, I've always been concerned with weapons of the weather. With the recent Florida hurricaines. And especially the Santa Rosa Ca fires. My brother is alive, and is house is not burnt down. His street is still there. But he won't evacuate. He's sending me pictures of his cat, on the livingroom couch, while the sirens going off, and the power goes out. I've told him to check in with me multiple times a day, and he's doing that.
