I can already hear my alarm going off tomorrow for work in my head. I'm not ready.

Can't even explain what I've felt this weekend and today. The other night two of my oldest son's friends were shot and one killed in what looks like a random robbery attempt. They were 16 & 17 and the suspect was another kid at their school, a freshman at 15. My son was supposed to be with them...and I am trying to wrap my head around it all. I've dealt with this in life myself, but there is something exponentially worse when it is children you know and the possibility of what might have happened with your son.

    Anyway...not the best weekend.

    Holy cow. So sorry Chael.

A friend of my sister's offered us 2 tickets to BM this year ... And to join his camp ... We were planning on going Turn key Camping this year with our brother :/ ... Making it more about focusing on the Radical Inclusion part (including our brother) ... He needs to practice "Gifting"@springing for our jaunt..Dunno?!?

Whoa, I missed this. Those what if’s are poison either way. I’m so thankful nothing happened to your son but oh my gosh, the horror those other boys’ parents are going through..

How can you be a programmer and hate computers?

I got skills, just not useful ones

What if I told you you could use computer skills to build robot horses?

I might be tempted to change careers. But I am a bit torn, real horses are pretty cool, do we really need a new version?

You don't have to replace real horses. Just also have robot horses.

its strange they got the galloping correct, but the whole "bounding" thing...horses don't do that.

and its back legs are backwards.

    I am struggling here

It's more of a mule for the army but that's what they found to work with the terrain for now.

Trying not to compare myself to the lady I know who just lost 15lbs in 4 weeks (and was maybe in the overweight category by a smidge). Meanwhile I trudge along at 1 lb a week and 25 more pounds to go to my okay-ish goal (that by the way I am very pleased with over the course of 9 months and 35lbs lost). And trying not to be catty about it in my head and just be happy for her.

I hate to brag, but I've lost a total of 3 pounds over the last 5 years.

If slow and steady is the way to go, then I'm crushing it.

You made me smile with the "I hate to brag" hehe. Thanks!

Thank you! I'm 90% okay with my slow and steady progress.
