Changing some things in big ways at work. Been working doing several jobs thinking at some point they would actually put me in one of those roles (of course, they pay quite a bit more), but alas I keep being told no. So met with my director the other day and said I am done working in those capacities. We have a department meeting in a few hours to restructure and define what I will actually be doing now. Just done with the BS of it all and looking forward to cutting away a bunch of other responsibilities. Also found I might be able to buy back over a year of contract work, which allow me to retire even earlier for full pension. So yeah...ready for the next chapter in life.
