A 4.5 lb tub of Reese's peanut butter and how many bags of mini-chocolate chips it would take to finish it off, one spoonful at a time. Thanks MFP ads.

There's no denying that I am a lame adult because I've ordered new bedding and I am stupidly excited for it to arrive

    New bedding is amazing!
I ordered sheets then liked them much I ordered the duvet cover in the same collection.
It wrinkles pretty bad, but I like it so much I broke down and bought an iron for the duvet cover too.
A "gift" for my duvet cover (the iron)!

Wish I could have documented me "ironing" this huge duvet cover! It was a messy experience, water kept pouring all over, had towels all over the floor...it was a scene!

You know what? And it serves me right!

My mom gave me a steamer, the same one she has. She said it was super handy. I didn't use it for a year (ever at all) so I donated it. Then got the duvet cover and was trying to decide between a steamer and an iron.
Decided on the iron because I was too stubborn to tell my mom she was right!

I’ve travelled quite a bit in my lifetime.
These days I really don’t get the urge to travel except to the Caribbean.
But I’ve been thinking I would really like to go back to Peru.

I like a steamer because I don't need an ironing board. And they make quick work of getting wrinkles out too.

ETA: I hate I missed my typo (extra word) earlier. Made me cringe that I couldn't correct it.

Know what's kinda funny? I had to re read your earlier reply 4 times to catch it!
My brain sipped right over it

Can you use a steamer on a horizontal surface? It killed my back ironing on my bed.
I actually decided wrinkles are kinda cool, I don't hate them!

    Interesting thought.
Birds fly above, or where they want, while crab is ground bound. Fish swim above, or where they want, while crab is ground bound.
...that was my initial thought on your statement and I like it.

I have not tried that. I would have just slung the cover over a couch or something with a long backside and did each half that way.

I’m tired of being in pain and I miss working out. I have mild degeneration in my lumbar spine and I’m kind of freaking out. I don’t want to end up in a wheelchair like my mom.

i thought it was aether unless we’re talking about etherium and then i’m so *kitten* more confused

I was thinking it was probably aether after i posted it but then I didn’t know if it was just that letter that looks like an a with an e stuck to its back in which case I usually replace it with just an e. But then i was like is ether a chemical? Then it was too much and i banked on no one questioning my wisdom and so far I’m 0/2

Remember back in the chat room days when you could see what people were hanging in that chat room?
Sometimes I observe a conversation and forget that y'all can't see that I'm here, observing.
