I'm 5 feet 9, about 155 pounds and it can fluctuate about 2 lbs. But the app only gives me 1880 calories daily and I could surpass that limit pretty easily everyday without cardios. Is this right?

What are you trying to do? Lose weight?
The calories given don't include exercise and do include a deficit if you are set to lose weight. You add more calories to account for any exercise you do, including cardio.4 -
I wish I had your problem. I'm not helpful. Just dreaming of how awesome an 1800 calorie day would be31

OP, you don't need to lose any weight. What's your purpose on this app? To maintain your current weight?2

What's your activity level? Are you set to try to lose weight? If so, how much?
I'm 5'4 and 165 pounds and MFP tells me to eat 1800 cals/day to lose 1 pound/week if I'm "active" (i.e. if I walk about 11,000 steps/day since that's when my FitBit starts giving me positive calorie adjutments.) So, at that activity level, I'd maintain on 2300 cals/day. But if I were sedentary, I'd only maintain on 1750ish.0 -

5ft 9" male @ 155lbs?
Middle of healthy BMI range?
What are you looking to do on MFP?
Maintain? Increase muscle mass?
With the above height/wage/age stats to get your 1880 you've set yourself as sedentary and the app to losing weight?
This doesn't make much sense.
More seriously, the closest I can come to 1880 is if you set yourself as active and your goal to lose 2lbs a week. Which would be insane.
Are you on your feet/moving around less than 35 minutes a day?
That's what sedentary means.
Your basic caloric allocation includes an adjustment that should have you losing/gaining as per your stated goals.
Any cardio is not included in that.
Deliberate exercise activity is supposed to be entered separately and eaten back in order for you to adjust your weight as per your stated goals.2 -
Randy Newman wrote "Short People" in case any one is interested and it is a very funny song2

I'm 5'8" and currently 162.
MFP gives me 1860 cals/day w/a goal to lose 1/2# per week based on a sedentary activity level. This corresponds to what I got w/a separate TDEE calculator.
I've been consistently and gradually losing wt at this level for several months. My TDEE is estimated at 2055 cal/da. I'll raise my cal in take to that when I want to stop losing any more wt.

I'm 5'9", 145 lbs, and 53 years old. I maintain at ~1650 calories before exercise (I'm a long distance runner, and I easily burn ~3500 calories just through running each week).
1880 calories sounds about right to me, assuming you are younger than I am. How much have you lost so far and how much more do you wish to lose?0 -

Did you miss the part where he is a 21 yo MALE?
His BMR is 1765.
He is at a NORMAL weight.
He should not be cutting any more than 20% off of his TDEE assuming that losing weight as opposed to recomposition even makes sense for him!
ETA: and it sure looks like he's left the room...1 -

Whoops! I did entirely miss that this is a male poster, not a female. Thanks for pointing that out! Big difference. To the OP: ignore me lol0 -
You can increase calories if you move more...

I'm with the other posters. Try 1200 calories. It's possible if you eat clean foods. Lots of fruits and veggies etc0
