Chinese: what's your order?

Nothing...
I can't eat soy or it is a very bad time. So now I have to stay away. I do make fried rice, lo mein, and stir fries at home quite often though.0 -
Spicy green beans
Dim Sum ( bean buns are my favorite)0 -
At a "real" Chinese place, I hit the buffet. I'd say my favorite is General Tso chicken with fried rice, which is an American dish. At the "fake" Asian place, aka Wok Box, I love the crispy breaded chicken and rice.2

Well, we only have American Chinese, not ethnic Chinese, but I get Garlic Chicken with white rice, and wonton soup. The place we order form give you enough for two meals, so I end up eating it for two lunches in a row!0
-
Steamed bao or dumplings (to share, the place I go to has a min. order of 8-10) and whatever entree I feel like. Orange beef is a favorite, so is sesame chicken - this place actually gets enough vinegar in the sauce to make it sour/sweet instead of just sweet.0

now i want a side of that coconut jelly you get in the dim sum places. it was a bad day when i realised it's not really that hard to make.0

When I am being good, white rice, lobster sauce with shrimp, egg roll or steamed dumplings. Yummy....0

For dessert, I order Chinese style egg custard (Hong Kong style) or Deep fried bananas with Red bean ice cream.1

I must go to the wrong places because they never have dessert, which is a big bummer.1 -
I usually go to Japanese restaurants, honestly, and have sashimi, but at a Chinese place I'd probably get the same as you - steamed shrimp (never chicken again) and broccoli, with soup (probably wonton though).
I really don't care much for Americanized Chinese food.

I'd guess the chicken made her sick or was off. I've had horrible chicken experiences that put me off chickens for lengthy times. I go back though.0 -
Usually egg drop/won ton soup and either a shrimp roll or spring roll. Back home there's this place that makes amazing Singapore Mei Fun so I always get that when I go visit.0
-
I tend to get Chicken & Mixed Vegetables, Buddhist Delight or something with mushrooms.
I do get rice, but I usually only eat half of it.0 -

Lemon chicken, fried rice, fried prawns and an egg roll. No matter which Chinese restaurant I go to, I will get whatever is closest to this.0
-
Duckie, preferrably with pineaple0

When it's available, I order a steamed whole fish (usually rock cod or black bass) from the live fish tank, clams in black bean sauce & whole salt/pepper shrimp w/the heads on.0
