Nail techs?

I am currently in nail tech school. I plan to work in a hair salon in my town, and they only need/have one nail tech position there.
Anyhow do any of you have any advice when starting out? I'd love to talk to you because I don't personally know anyone that is a nail tech!

Try Craigslist. I'm not even being sarcastic. Perhaps contact some "experts" with videos on YouTube.1

I was/still have my license. My experience was that you need to be available almost all working hours to get exposure to build that client base OR get really lucky and inherit someone else's clientele. It was nothing I could make a career out of so I did it part time for a while and then became a nurse. I keep my license up because it cost me a lot of time and money to get it and so I can shop at the supply house at cost1
