Anyone else hate them? I have been to one and dont care to go back.

    Not sure, I have never been to one, but the location of the dollar bills in the joint is part of the reason I don't like to carry cash.

    I think they are a colossal waste of money. I have gone for friends bachelor parties, and what not, but i can think of 1,000 things on which i'd rather spend money.

    that said, I don't "hate" them or think they are evil or anything. just not for me.

    I find them a waste of money and I have an aversion to someone pretending to be interested in me so I give them money.

    If I carry any cash at some point I get singles for change. Then its like having some girl's sweaty crotch in my hand. :sick:

    I like good ol' fashioned go go bars where the dancers look pretty and don't get in your face trying to grab tips with their boobs. Extra points for glittery pasties and merkins.

    I have never been, but if it is anything like the male stripper at a party I went to.... I probably would not enjoy it anyway!

    I like strip clubs. But then again I'm a fan of pretty much any activity that involves scantily clad women. Plus, the strippers usually smell like vanilla, and who doesn't like vanilla?

    The hubby and I usually go one or twice a year after a night out.........I can take them or leave them. But as others have expressed I can think of a lot more things i'd rather spend money on! When we do go, we make sure we primer up the buzz real good before going in that way we can order a beer and just sip it haha!....beers are at minimum $6 a piece and mixed drinks I can't even imagine!!!

    Living in the strip club capital of the US, I like them. Some are WAY better than others though. I like the ones where the women are more "alternative" (ink, all shapes and sizes and colors,etc.) and where they get to pick their own music. If you're ever in Portland, OR, I highly recommend Magic Gardens and Mary's Club. These two places are very couples/female friendly as well.

    I've only been to strip clubs in New Orleans and I gotta say I wasn't impressed. The girls didn't seem to be having fun and it was pretty lame. It's cheaper and more exciting to just watch porn. Or have someone willing to give you a lap dance at home.

    There's this place in Portland that's been there forever, and that's the only one I've ever been to. It was really late at night, so I think the talent was not representative (maybe it was, I'd never been before) but it was laughable. I could see the "back room" from the entrance and it was very clear that the talent offered additional services.

    It was gross.

    But besides that one experience I can't really offer an opinion on them.

    weird! Portland has some AWESOME clubs! DV8 is probably my fave strip club that i've been to.

    I've heard that Portland/Oregon has the most strip clubs per capita in the US. I'm sure there are some really great ones. I'm just not that into it. I like my imagination better, and it's free.
