    My pedometer died today. May the sweet old friend rest in peace. Now I have to find some other way. Sigh..... I despise "trackers" which I can't simply look at to see my step count, and I despise apps that require me to be glued to my phone. So this should be irritating.

    @rhaiin - It is amazing how much we move cleaning house.

    @picasso66 - What a fun way to get your steps in.

    @spikeyhair & @KariBush78 - Way to go ladies!

    @ThatUserNameIsAllReadyTaken - I am so sorry for your loss. Like you I wouldn't want a fitness tracker. Amazon, eBay, and Walmart all sell clip pedometers.

    I hope everyone has a lovey Sunday.

    I thought I might share this, if someone is looking for a little more motivation.

    A friend asked me a couple of weeks ago how I keep my motivation to get my steps. I mentioned this thread and mentioned that I was "walking" to Mordor (I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan). I explained that I had googled it, found a site that had the miles, and I was making my way there slowly but surely, keeping track of my progress. When I talked with her tonight she said she had decided if I could "walk" to Mordor she could "walk" to CA where she likes to vacation.

    You all know I don't have really high steps or mile counts. But from the 20th of Sept. to yesterday I have walked 275 miles. Day to day our steps do not seem high but they add up. It is a reminder with each step we take, we are moving forward and closer to our goals.

    Have a good evening <3
