Many people on this site are more nosey and judgmental than supportive

The majority of people have no clue about topics that they contribute to. Ironically the people that you are calling "nosey and judgmental" are probably the ones that have a better understanding than most.6

I've found, and I'm applying this to myself only, that the threads I've started asking for help/insight are usually met with some fairly short, to the point and direct answers, and my threads don't stay up on top long, for two primary reasons really.
1. I simply do not know much (although learning) about human physiology, nutrition and the best way to apply it. It isn't hard to spot the folks here that do primarily because what they say is echoed over and over by people who are successfully reaching their goals.
2. I apply what's suggested to me and my routine and diet. If it works, there's simply no need to continue the thread unless others are finding it and contributing/learning themselves. If it doesn't work, which I won't know unless I try it
then I'll state the results and ask more questions.
Going anecdotal here - I've been fairly well busted up over the course of my lifetime and had some medical issues, but even taking those into account, my body still reacts and works within the boundaries of established medical knowledge and science. I'm not special in spite of the issues I've had.
I hope the OP takes that in the spirit it's intended, which is a gentle prodding to take a chance that what works for others might work for you too.
SideSteel, trigden1991 and a few others know what they're talking about and are responding out of a desire to help. Give it a shot. Their way may work better than what you're asking for.
Hope you find what you're looking for.7 -
I have seen your other threads OP. Go back and read them. You got some great advice, until someone said something you didn't like, and your response was abrasive. Then the free-for-all started. Your information wasn't very concise and so people assume. Alot of people were very knowlegeable and concerned--sorry you don't recognize or appreciate that. And good luck with whatever you're trying to do--next time just ask your doctor.4

I was someone who said the last you need is a weight loss contest. But as you complain about things being taken out of context then so shall I. There was more to my post than just that. I also made several other responses in the thread actually clarifying things somewhat in your defense.
I took time out of my day to try and HELP. But you're combative because people say things that hit raw nerves, like someone with a past of EDs should take a more moderate approach and should possibly be doing it with the help of professionals.
As a side note, just because you're obese doesn't mean you no longer have an ED or dysfunctional behaviours surrounding food, you admit to anxiety and OCD, these are closely linked and not things you can just turn off or know aren't going to impact on anything new you commit to in your life. And that comes from a place of mutual understanding. Much like we don't know everything about you without disclosure, you don't know everything about those responding and what personal place their advice comes from.
Support is often telling someone the very things they really don't want to hear.9 -
