I ordered a lot of presents for other people this week, and snuck in some winter bike gloves for myself. And a really tiny pump, and a rearlight with rechargeable battery. It will be a little like Christmas when they'll arrive - hopefully soon

Goal for the month is 257 miles (strange number is to get me up to 4000 miles for 2016).
Did an odd indoor workout today, watched a game of rugby while doing a two hour low intensity ride and then did a 3 min max power test. Maybe a two hour "warmup" was a little excessive!
34 miles to kick off the month.
Felt really alien to be cycling outdoors again! Wind noise - constant gear changing - steering! What's that all about?

Unusually hands didn't suffer from the cold too much but feet were frozen. It's surprisingly difficult to walk properly when you can't feel your feet.....
120 miles so far this month, 46 outdoors and 74 indoors mostly on WattbikePro. Been playing with the Wattbike hub phone app, interesting and the fitness tests are challenging.
137 miles left to hit my goal for the year.

Ended up skipping a team ride today due to heavy fog (that I had originally planned to ride to/from to get in a Century) so the biking gods got their revenge on me as my fixed gear beach bike/errand commuter was stolen (alongside 15 other bikes from a locked building storage room).
Given it was a $90 bike (with another $90 in upgrades), and I didn't pull it out of my building's shared locked storage room after my saddle bag was stolen off it last month (as it was locked to a rack in the room when swiped), I'm not too upset. The bike was pretty distinctive (as it was a bright green bike, and I replaced the stock crank with a bright orange crank), so I think I may have more than the usual 1% chance of it being recovered as I also had the full specs/serial number for the filed police report. Still, not holding my breath, and used it as an excuse to order a new commuter/inexpensive bike. I had spotted a great fixie last week for $140 on amazon (SE Draft Lager), but sure enough it was back up to $220 today so I dug further around Amazon, spotted a nice deal on a Ridley Fenix 105 groupset Aluminum/Carbon Fork mix for $380 in my size, and ordered it instead.

That's me over 100 miles for the week, for the first time since the end of October. So, nice that I've got there, but shows what a mess the last 6 weeks have been.
Sorry about the loss of your bike @Ohhim , though any excuse for a new one is not to be sniffed at of course. Curious about the concept of a sand bike though - don't the chain and gears get clogged up virtually immediately?

Late to the party, but none the less I am riding. All rides are done now indoors on bike set on trainer. I use TrainerRoad and have logged 92.4 miles. I ride everyday except Sunday's 30 to 45 mins.1

Pretty satisfied with my pace of getting through this although I do wish I didn't miss three days in a row, but what with snow shoveling and other activity my muscles got quite sore. Even today I felt some twinges from the muscles in my back climbing on the bike.
