So I'm a pretty big fan of quest bars, any other fans out there?

Thanks

I own a box of every quest bar flavor except for their new release: White Chocolate Raspberry
Personally I like the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough or Brownie flavors. Before I eat one I would warm them up in the microwave for like 8~10 secs... So good *Drools*0 -
my favorite is the coconut cashew0
-
I can't wait to try the white chocolate raspberry!! I have tried warming them up in the microwave but failed ha! I guess I put them in there too long.
I haven't tried the coconut cashew one yet, I'm glad to hear that it's good! I will have to grab one soon0 -
Brownie and cookie dough are great, heat up 10-15 seconds for 5 second intervals to avoid turning into a rock. (Been there done that.) Tried the chocolate peanut butter and it was okay, tried strawberry cheesecake and hated it.0
-
I either completely melt them or turn them into a rock ha! Still working on that happy medium
I'm so surprised that you hated the strawberry cheesecake! Have you tried the apple pie one? It's fantastic!0 -
The mix berry flavor seems rather plain to me...
I'll admit I haven't tried them all yet even though I own boxes of them... I rotate between my other protein bars just so I can get them out the way lol...0 -

I think I was expecting strawberry flavor and got very artificial strawberry instead and that turned me off. I haven't tried the Apple pie but if it's being given a good recommendation I may pick one up tomorrow.0 -

Haha! I haven't tried the mixed berry one either, at least you won't run out of protein bars for a while!!
I saw on a website where someone ended up baking the cinnamon bar and put Greek yogurt on it and twisted it up to make a mini cinnamon bun!0 -

Ah yeah, the apple pie one had bits of dried apples in it I hope you like it when you do try it!0 -
Love them except the lemon flavor. Will try microwaving them :-)... thanks!0
-
Ick, yes I saw the lemon flavored one and had no desire to try it haha0
-
My fav is the peanut butter supreme one, sooo good.
Used to like the brownie flavor now I find the luo han guo taste a bit too strong.
Never liked the lemon cream pie flavor..
Really wanna try the Cookie Dough flavor but they don't sell that here..0 -
I love peanut butter supreme as well! Apple pie is still a classic!0
-
The cookie dough one is so good! You should try hunting it down if possible peanut butter supreme is pretty fantastic! It's surprising that I actually like most of them and they don't taste like rubber! Ha!
The apple pie is a classic for sure0 -
The first one i ever had was coconut cashew, my first reaction was "yuck" . Then i heard to pop them in the microwave for just a few seconds. My microwave is pretty powerful so i put it in for 5 seconds at first and then, if need be, i turn it over and add another 3-5 seconds.. Perfect every time. Not another bar out there that comes close to the nutrition profile of the quest bar. I like the first released flavor of vanilla almond, but has higher calories and really like banana nut bread, cinnamon roll and coconut cashew. Not a big fan of any of the chocolate flavors and the chocolate peanut butter has no peanut butter flavor to it that i could detect. The chocolate chip cookie dough is ok, lemon is eehh and the apple pie was ok. I think i have tried a few other flavors but they escape me right now so they couldn't have been that great.0

thought you guys might enjoy this deal

Had my first white chocolate raspberry Quest bar tonight! Delicious! Though I'm not sure anything beats the chocolate chip cookie dough. Other favs are the coconut cashew, banana nut muffin, and apple pie. Try changing it up by softening cccd or apple pie in the microwave, then rolling it out to thickness (or thinness) of pie crust, bake at 350 for 4 minutes, awesome! No need to search for low calorie cookie recipes any more when there's Quest bars in my pantry! Also great in the microwave for 15 seconds; they just don't seem to last as long.0

I forgot to mention the chocolate peanut butter flavor. Worst ever! It's not chocolatey, but the PB is hardly there.
Vanilla Almond is actually quite good.
Banana Nut muffin's banana taste is realllly strong. So for someone who loves things like banana bread this would be a great choice.0 -
the deal didnt work for me! still says $720
-
I have only tried the coconut cashew, cinnamon roll, & pb & j. Cinnamon roll was really good. I actually like them chilled. Have not tried them heated.0
-
I've tried reheating them and the texture is gooey and sticky and it's just not my thing at all.
Honestly I got tired of them though. Most flavors I just don't care for, and even the ones I like I got tired of after a couple months.0 -
I LOVE Quest bars! Local GNC stores have them on sale right now: buy 2 bars get one free and if you use this coupon:
http://content.gnc.com/coupons/COUPON_MBRPrice_20799.pdf
and have a gold card and get the member price 12 will cost you only $13 or so!
I stocked up last month when they had them on sale and then with a different coupon so I don't need any right now, I probably have over 60 bars right now. I am waiting for the new White Chocolate Raspberry to hit the local GNC's so I can tried that flavor. I called them last night and none in yet but you can get that flavor from the Quest website right now.
My favs are: Choc Chip cookie dough, Choc brownie, peanut butter supreme, coconut cashew, banana nut muffin. Lemon is ok, strawberry cheesecake is ok as is choc/peanut butter. I have noticed they have worked on the formulas with the new flavor bars and they aren't as hard as the older versions are.
I also like Power Crunch bars too. They don't have as much protein as the Quest bars do but they are a nice change. With the GNC sale of b2g1f you can get like 18 of them and then use the $10 off $20 coupon and get 18 bars for like $11!! What a deal. I have about 60 bars stocked up of those too due to the gnc sale and coupon last month too.
Shop till ya drop. You can print that GNC coupon out more than once and use it over and over again. You can't use more than one coupon at a time though, some stores might let you but 2 of the 3 GNC stores in my town wouldn't but you can go back time and time again with the same coupon reprint and use it and save $10 off $20 purchase. Enjoy!0 -
Agree with ^^^! Awesome deal at GNC!
My fave (so far) is cinnamon roll.... tastes like an oatmeal raisin cookie. Mmmm.... love it!
These actually taste good and have a minimal amount of junk in them. A great find. High protein, lots o' fiber, low net carbs... and yummy to boot! A winner!0 -
bump for coupon! Thanks.0

Just microwaved a choc chip cookie dough Quest bar... The ensuing mouthgasm was only matched by my sheer frustration of not having done this sooner!0

I love Quest Bars. I thought the chocolate chip cookie dough was my fave but white chocolate raspberry and apple pie have become my favorite. OK, I'll be honest, I like them all!!0
-
Favorite: chocolate chip cookie dough.
Notable mentions: apple pie, mixed berry bliss, PB & J, cinnamon roll.
Want to try: vanilla almond crunch, white chocolate raspberry, coconut cashew.
I've only had one that I didn't care for; the chocolate brownie one was tough to get down. I bought it on two separate occasions because I was willing to believe it would be better microwaved.
It was not. :P0 -

I'm curious about your method! What's the consistency of this like after it's done baking? Also do you use a baking sheet with parchment paper or cooking spray? I have to imagine it would stick like nobody's business if you didn't.0 -
Yeah I'm curious how people microwave them at all. Mine always end up like a sticky messy mess when I do it.
I've gone back to quest bars though, couldn't find anything else that kept me as full for the same nutrition.0
