Please keep this clean.
Be adult about this.
Admin please don't kick in a knee jerk reaction (pun not intended).
Mary Whitehouses and Mavis Rileys out there; it's natural, so please don't come to just report and moan.
The question too often unasked remains though.
How many calories are burnt in performing (not a spectator sport in my case), or in fluids deposited, or received in sex and/or masturbatíon?
Ok, stop blushing. Stop giggling.
Remember, we are adults.
Thanks.

It depends on the intensity, form, and duration of the exercise and whether one is going beastmode alone or with a partner1

It totally doesn't remain unasked. There are threads about this all the time. And the fluids are in the food database, if you know what to search for.4

Beastmode alone? I'm far too skilled and, well, lazy for that. I'm an energy conservationist.0 -
I dunno, but it isn't earning you an extra cheeseburger no matter how much of a stallion you think you are. Couple of fries maybe....8

Wow, really?!0 -
I have a theory that gym owners try to keep it secret, because it's more enjoyable than rowing machines. And more portable.0

5.8 calories per hour2

It's really not that high of a calorie burn. Most people consider it part of their daily activity (even if they don't do it daily). Unless you're doing some acrobatic performance art, it's fairly minimal. How many calories can realistically be burned off in 3 minutes, ya know?5

I've never been able to work out a good answer to the question. My wife hates it when I wear my HRM and keep looking at it while we make the beast with two backs, and it always spoils the mood.4

No one is blushing or giggling. It's all been said/asked before. There is a search function on here.

The only rough round about way to find out would be to get a Fitness tracker with a heart rate monitor.
Not everyone puts in the same level of enthusiasm and gusto, so there will be no universal calorie number.
I used to have someone who posted sex under exercise and post it on the newsfeed here. He claimed stupid amounts of time, like hours, with huge calorie burns just about everyday. It was obviously " Look at me laaadies I'm a stallion" brag and no doubt utter BS.2 -
Dude. I've answered probably a dozen of these. It's not the first time it's been asked. You include sexual activities in your daily activity level, becauseeee its an activity preformed through out the day. It's minimal. If I only burn 250 calories in an hour of lifting hundreds of pounds. Rolling around with my girlfriend for 20 minutes is going to be pretty minimal. Wear a fit watch if you're that concerned about it. And be real, are you really going for upwards of 1-2 hours without a single rest period?3

That's not what he was asking? You seem to take things quite personally in these threads.

Yes really
And less than you think1 -

And if it's not in your activity level as Jesse mentions, you're doing it wrong5 -
Just complete your diary knowing you have a bit of a margin for error those days and profit. It's a win win.1
-
I kept my fitbit on once during - was a little disappointed that I didn't even get into the 'fat burn' zone. Must try harder. Unfortunately, you'd be better off just going for a walk instead.2
-
It can't be many calories otherwise there would not be any overweight hookers.4

Your angry response was all I needed to finish off. Thanks.2 -

NOOOOO! One hour is a year's worth. And I eat pizza during the act too. Gives my other hand something to do.1 -

3 minutes? Wow! It takes me that long to find myself. Surely lifting my stomach must count as a workout.1 -
Of course it isnt going to be all that many - common sense tells us that - otherwise there wouldnt be nearly so many overweight people about - surely nobody thinks most of them are not sexually active too. And obviously it isnt doing much to reduce their weight.
and Realistically the physically vigourous part of sex doesnt take all that long - sure, long foreplay might be enjoyable but it isnt physically vigourous till the main event
Consider it part of your activity level - even if your level is set to sedentary that is including some incidental movement, it isnt saying you dont move at all.
I set my activity level to lightly active because my job is not a desk one. Some days I do activity like sex or cleaning windows or weeding (random unassociated examples) that I dont do every day - but it is still part of the average of my lightly active lifestyle.0 -

Incidentally - seems strange in OP you wanted thread adult and not for giggles - but most of the non-adult, posted for giggles posts seem to be from OP.6

Oh dear me. Slaps wrist...
.
Slaps again and smiles.0 -
No, I'm not uptight - I dont care if you want a silly for giggles thread or were asking a serious question.
Just found the self righteous We are all adults, its not for giggles in the OP followed by OP himself trying to rev it into silly titillating for giggles thread a bit ridiculous.
As you were.....1
