Starting weight: 226.4
Goal weight: 175
Last week weight: 213.4
This week weight: 213.6
This week: 0.2 GAIN
Total weight loss: 12.8
This week's successes:
Usual Disclaimer: I may bore you.
While that horrible weekly check-in number shows a gain officially, I am totally blowing it off. I had an awesome week. I ate well-balanced meals all week, had a day over my target calories but was able to go low the next day to compensate, and was under my target calories for the week average. I find that this has been a week where the clothes feel or look better too. So I am not going to focus on the scale number. (I'm still ahead of schedule for the year though.)
Both my husband and I were off work; we had a stayacation working around the home. Sure, we lounged around a little; we also worked our butts off tiling the downstairs of a house. My hands are horribly red and cracked, but my sense of satisfaction is preening like a cat in the sun. We have over 660 square feet to lay. This our first time tiling. We still have all the cutting to do for the finish work, but the main spaces are complete and, if I do say so myself, are straight, level, and look fantastic.
Checking on last week’s challenges:
My work is closed for the week. I do not necessarily deal well with unstructured time and food planning. Had a great food week. Delicious, well balanced and one day I had a date to go out to eat fresh seafood.
Walk a fast 5K twice in the week. I changed up this challenge because my dog was not up to a second 5K. It got a little cooler and her arthritis was acting up. So we did one 5K and then I did 1400 stairs.
Eat green food four times this week because the race is in Ireland. So many delicious choices. So much green food I’d have to go to my diary to remember it all. Easy peasy challenge.
Tile a 660 square foot area made up of two rooms, a bathroom, a closet and a hallway. Not finished yet, but coming along nicely.
This week’s challenges:- I have one challenge this week. Key West.
Oh yeah - I also have the challenge of not killing anyone who is in the car during the 8 hour drive down and back.
Note to self - I make that drive back on Sunday so I am going to have some water retention at Monday''s weigh in; don't beat self up.

You all are inspiring me. I got interested in this challenge about a month ago just before a big move. Surrounded by boxes and a longer commute makes it really tough to not be stressed and to stay on track. But your losses this year are super helpful to see and I'm getting back on it now thanks to this!
It does not appear you are logging with us. Join in! Log the good; log the bad.

Total weight lost: 0 lbs

This week's successes: I started meal planning again, and realised where all my calories were coming from!! ALMONDS are crazy! Who knew 50 g could have some many kj? Still going to eat them, but maybe a few less. LOL
This week's challenges: Exams! I have exams for the rest of the next fortnight (2 weeks) and it's going to be difficult. I also will have my sister's birthday to deal with...lots of kiddie cake and ice cream this weekend! I'm going to have a little ice cream, but no more than that!7 -

Starting weight: 247.8lbs (Jan 1st)
Goal weight: 170-195lbs ( by end of 52 weeks)

This Week's Successes: I'm finally getting back into an exercise routine, and I'm starting to feel great. I've been meal prepping and mostly sticking to my plan. Definitely noticing increased positive mood and less anxiety.
This Week's Challenges: WEEKENDS! I'm great during the week when I have a routine, but struggle with the freedom of the weekend. My goal this week is to stick with it throughout the weekend into next week.

Been eating better vegetables...More yogurt..More nuts in moderation... Portion control... Sure I've eaten not so good foods but still in moderation...Also I have limited ice cream and I love ice cream.10 -

So does anyone know how many people are still here from 1st Jan? I did PM someone (can't remember who) and they said they were preparing a spreadsheet0

That was me - I started it and haven't had a chance to complete it. Work and other Life keep getting in the way. I still have it on the back burner!

Current weight: 252.6

This week's successes: Continued to be consistent with the walking. Hitting 10,000 steps every day, but my legs and hips ache at the end. I am beginning to be able to see a real difference in my clothes. Have dropped one to two sizes. Focusing on calories while keeping a balanced, varied diet is working for me so far.

I'm new and would love to be in a group like this. Not sure if it's to late or not. My goal is to lose one pound per week until December 31. I weigh 194lbs and my goal weight is 160lbs. I weigh in on Mondays. Helps me not splurge over the weekend. Lol8

Welcome. People are joining all the time so jump in.
My weigh- in is a Saturday morning, which is also my treat day so I get a full six days to get the blubber off! Working so far to be fair

You all are doing great! I don't post as much as I'd like to, but I love to catch up with you all through your posts. As always, it's never too late to jump in and start, or if you've fallen off the wagon, brush yourself off and jump back on!
