I made my first iced chocolate sugar cookies this year that taste great but not Southern Living Magazine worthy.. oh well I get try again next year.
I've been trying this cookie for the past two years. Still haven't figured it out (first I couldn't find the red, then the base broke. After that is was a hot mess):
I tried....
you could probably make it easier with fondant. Cut out everything.
yours is still cute though.
I love decorating cookies.1 -

Are you in the tristate area?? Do you have a basement I can crash at for cookie days?
I offer financial/fashion advice in return.0 -

I have no doubt you guys can cause homemade food are always better than processed but can you make it under 4 bucks and under 10 mins ?? Lol
sadly prep would take longer than that0 -
http://www.joyofbaking.com/MandMCookies.html I just made these for Christmas Eve. They ended up in the oven a little too long and ended up smooshed together because we only have one decent sized pan. I'm making a cobbler the day of.
Those gingerbread cookies are adorable, @thisonetimeatthegym !1 -

I have my mo over to "supervise" with trifle prep. I've cut bread for dressing and I'm making blueberry pie filling.
Lots to do but it's fun
I like those last of the cookies0 -
The meringues are crispy and basically melt as you eat them. They have Skor bars chopped up in them which I was told aren't available in the states so basically Heath bars.
@GreenGoddess22 Here is a link to the recipe. I make them every year. just beware that you might have to add some extra flour to the batter it can be a bit wet sometimes. http://www.bhg.com/recipe/cookies/melt-in-your-mouth-sugar-cookies/
Thanks for posting this Synchkat. I'm making them right now and they're yummy!
You'll be hooked. They are the best things EVER0 -
