I saw this documentary on the effects of music therapy on people with dementia. Heartbreaking with moments of joy sprinkled in. 😥

In theater "Crazy Rich Asians" - thought it would be a comedy...was a romantic drama :disappointed:

Rented at home "Leave No Trace" - good movie, bit slow at times, good acting. I've often thought about 'going off the grid', this movie made me say 'naw' I couldn't do it.

I got a good feeling of 'you are who you are' (and trauma can change you irreparably...or give you a new perspective (for the daughter)) and 'you need to do what you need to do'...be true to yourself.

The line breaking/wrapping is what gets me. I keep trying ot read it like a poem, but there is no rhyme, meter, nor flow to it that I can pick up.

Weird but well made, I'd say. Then again, I enjoy Japanese and Korean productions.

I didn't know they did a live action Bleach. I don't generally watch movies made after 1991 so it was probably The Last Starfighter blu ray.

aww man i loved that one so much. one of my all time faves already. but i can see how it's boring to some folks. and i think it was def written more from/for a male perspective which might be a bit offputting as well

Peppermint Many scenes ignites "Alias" recalls. Atypically a vigilante type film, only executed by a woman. Realistic off grid living.

Jurassic World was the most recent movie I seen and I really liked it. But I did watch a classic Halloween movie last night George Romero's Night of the Living Dead 1968 in color. I love the black and white version of the movie but seeing it in color I love it even more especially the gory scenes.
