The Greatest Showman. I'm not a fan of musicals, but this movie is excellent! Hugh Jackman is more talented than any one person should be allowed to be & is worth the price of admission. Going to see Avengers: Infinity War Saturday morning. Can't wait!

“Lion” — Really good! Yanked the ole heartstrings big time. Went through at least 4 cry-towels. Sweet film.

I don't watch movies. The last one I saw was Save the Last Dance whenever it came out. It was on a first date, and I fell asleep.

    Jeffrey Walker's "Ali's Wedding." Unique Aussie-minority humour.

    Yeah? Any good?

I enjoyed it... kind of predictable, but good, dark, stylish Alien thrills. Pulled me in, mostly — pretty good overall but some of the same old recycled scenes and motifs (yes, we love them, but it gets kind of lazy sometimes). But... some good psychological thrills and action. And no Ripley

I didn’t know it was her mom, but I understood the context of the film as a prequel. She’s pretty darn good, even if she’s no Sigourney Weaver.
