I eat brunch around 3 pm. I'm not hungry in the morning and in fact when I do eat early I usually have a hard time keeping my daily calories in check. You should do whatever works for you.

If you aren't hungry, don't eat breakfast. I very rarely eat breakfast. Honestly if I regularly had breakfast, I'd have a very hard time meeting my calorie goals because my favorite and largest meal is and always has been dinner. I have coffee with fat free half and half and splenda in the morning, and eat lunch around 12:30. All that said if I'm hungry for breakfast, I'll eat. Usually just a 60-100 calorie yogurt. Do what works for you and ignore all the "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" and metabolism BS.

I absolutely eat first thing in the morning, well, maybe after using toilet, but you see what I mean, I have read here breakfast is not as important as people think?? I find that hard to believe but I'd like to read more about that, never heard such thing, anyway, I enjoy a fulfilling breakfast yes.

I eat a protein bar around 9-ish during the week. Usually I skip breakfast on the weekends. Breakfast literally means break your fast. So whatever time you decide to break your fast is good :)

Usually I skip it - I do 16:8 which is intermittent fasting with an 8hr window to eat every day and I'm flexible with my eating window. I try to go as long as I can any day w/o eating so I have the option to eat later. For example, I haven't eaten anything yet today and it's 11:11 so I can eat until 7:11 tonight if I were to eat right now.

I normally wait a 3 or so hours after waking before I eat, or it makes me nauseous.

Depends for me. Work days, I consistently have breakfast after our morning meetings. On weekends, especially days when I run, I frequently don't eat anything until lunch.

I usually skip it. On the occasions that eat breakfast it's more of a brunch and I usually skip lunch on those days. It's rare that eat more than twice a day. That's not for weight control. I ate that way before I gat fat, while I was gaining weight, while I was losing weight, and now that I'm back at a healthy weight.

The whole 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day' myth is mostly from brilliant marketing from cereal companies, with some bro-science from the fitness industry thrown in as well. However, meal timing/frequency is a preference thing and doesn't really matter in terms of weight loss. Many here do IF and don't even break their daily fasts till noon or later. Figure out what works best for you and your lifestyle/schedule and then do that :)

It really depends on the day, but for the most part I don't usually have anything to eat until closer to noon. I just don't get hungry before then. And even at that point, it's often just an instant breakfast or similar in some tea.

I am a morning person. However, I am NOT a...get up and eat right away.....person. This means that I don't usually eat until after I leave for the office. I find breakfast hard. I find it hard because if I'm going to eat breakfast at my desk then it doesn't leave for a lot of options. Muffins are calorie-dense....most breakfast things are just flour and sugar crap foods. And I do NOT like those cold egg "muffins" that many people make.

Also, I am finding that if I skip breakfast I only have to be hungry for an hour or so before lunch AND it's much easier to meet my daily calorie deficit if I skip breakfast.

So, what do you do for breakfast? Or do you skip breakfast?

Breakfast is the most important meal out of all you should not skip it .. you don't have to have it too early. If sugary breakfasts do not fasinate you try having healthy things like
1- baguette with butter and olive paste
2- bagel with cheese and cucumber
3- shakes like half banana strawberry and a bit of milk and the rest water
34 i personally have moulin d'or healthy bread with zatar
    Hope this helps

nope - ALL meal timing is a matter of personal preference and you should do whatever works for you. There are folks on this site who have lost tons of weight eating 5-6 meals a day and folks who have lost weight eating 1 meal a day - unless you are an elite level athlete, timing really doesn't matter.

It depends. On occasion, if I know I will likely be grazing lightly between morning and dinner time, I'll eat breakfast. If I have a more calorie-dense lunch planned, I skip it.

I struggle to have breakfast before work and usually skip it but on the weekend when I have more time to properly wake up I do like to make myself eggs or avocado on ryebread, but I've never been a fan of heavier fry ups or bread rolls in the morning.

Sounds like all stuff that would make me drowsy-- sugar and carbs. I like fat, protein, caffeine and some kind of probiotic food/ beverage for breakfast. Usually a smoothie or maybe kefir, yogurt, shashuka. Gets me going. Not claiming it is "the mostimporntnmeaofthdy"
