Has anyone tried the cloth reusable pads? Do they stay put during exercise?

Oooh I don't have anything to contribute about the pads, but cups are the BEST for exercising on your period.

idk how people can wear pads in general, especially during exercise.

I've always used pads, just what I'm used to. Never had any issues during exercise. But the cloth ones have interested me in awhile now, but I don't know anyone that has used them.

I have never even heard of these but my 17 yr old uses the cup and swears by it. But watching her boil it in my kitchen makes me want to die. She has her own pot.

haha I've debated using our pots or not. This dude says to just use rubbing alcohol http://menstrual-cups.livejournal.com/1649971.html

The cups are definitely scary, but once you get up the nerve to try them they're pretty great

It's a small flexible cup about the size of a tampon but it's silicone. You shove it up in there and it collects the blood. You have to empty it a couple times and wash it in the sink and boil it later to clean it.

Oh my. I'll stick with the tampons! :)

I tried some form of the cup at some point and it flat out didn't work. Maybe it was a bad product or I didn't know what I was doing. I don't think the cloth ones are very popular yet and I also haven't tried them. If they have wings I don't see why they wouldn't be good for working out. I just use a tampon if I'm going to be out and about or at a gym.

For me, the cups took a few cycles for me to figure out how to get a good enough seal so they didn't leak. Just takes practice.

Maybe I'll buy a few cloth ones when I'm around the house. Otherwise I'll stick to pads. Never liked tampons, so cups won't work for me.

It's bigger than a tampon. Could post a pic because my pig daughter keeps hers on her bathroom counter. Dry heave. But she swears she would never go back to tampons. She does wear panty liners with them though so what really is the point?

I still wear panty liners with mine too, and it's about my 4th cycle. The goal is to go without the liners, but it takes a while to get confident with the technique! haha.

You do fold it down to insert it though so the point isn't really any larger than a tampon

Do you get them at the grocery store or are they something you have to order online?

Some I thought sold in stores, but not that I can find in my town.

LMAO!!! This reminds me of my sister constantly complaining about her daughter (18 yrs) leaving the tampons on the floor!! She gets so furious! I have sons so I can't relate!

I use the cup! It's amazing. Stays in place during a workout and throughout the day. When you think about how many chemicals they put on a tampon it really is gross and would think... not very good for you. Plus it saves you a ton of $$ in the long run.

On the floor!? You mean used cartridges? That's gross. If they are clean unused in the box though I can relate. At that point it's the same to me a toilet paper.
