And now you see why Australia has to be fictional

The time I spent in Perth does seem like a hazy dream, but that may have been the alcohol.

    Keebler elf tree

    make me some cookies please
I can bake everything, but cookies. I start out with high hopes and they always turn out crappy. It's very depressing.

I have a good recipe if you want

So our 19 year old son came home from college on his Winter break.

Just before he went back to campus, he baked some white chocolate chip, macadamia nut cookies.

I only had two over three days time. He can bake cookies better than anyone I know.

When he was in high school, he would bake cookies and give them to all of the girls at school. He was kinda popular with them.

This is the same kid that took a coffee maker, coffee, coffee cups, creamer and sweetener to his high school English class. He would make coffee for his English teacher and himself to enjoy in the afternoon; I think maybe he had a crush on her too.
He sounds like a sweet kid. You raised him right.

thank you, he's a great kid

now.... you should see our daughter; she's still trying to kill me (and just might succeed).

Every morning, when I wake up, I thank the stars and the "Y" chromosome in my special sauce that I have all boys. Not that I wouldn't have loved a daughter, but I know for a fact that I would have been one of those super, over protective fathers to a daughter.

And now you see why Australia has to be fictional

    We are a simple place

We go to the bottle o for grog
    Maccas for a feed
The servo for durries and petty
    Woolies for groceries
We wear thongs on our feet
    Call our mates Cu*t
    Our Cu*ts mate

We may say "how's it going" in passing this means "hello" we don't actually care how you're going

Chips can be many things, food wise they are "crisps" "fries" and "thick cut chips" - to us they're all chips

We drink goon, wear stubbies whilst drinking stubbies

One of our national pass times is getting a snag at bunnings

We live in places like Wollongong, bong bong, Woolloomooloo, tittybong, Humpty Doo and watanobbi

If you didn't think Australia was spastic up until this point we are all messed up due to 50 degree celcius summers (122F) and more spiders and snakes that can kill us than wed like to admit

Ultimately though - best place to live
