I like thin sliced chicken breasts or chicken tender slices. Overall, though, I prefer thighs.

I look for the ones with 3% sodium and packaged individually. I live alone, so having to repackage into individual portions or thaw out multiple chicken breasts at a time doesn't work for me.

Best is relative. Honestly, I prefer thighs but generally get boneless skinless breasts.

I use boneless and skinless. I also use a food scale. Love the thighs also. Good luck

I just buy the usual boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I never buy legs, i don't like dark meat.

I don't buy a brand, I get all my meat from a butcher. I very rarely buy meat from a grocery store. I'm in Australia, i think it might be different here, as we still have local butchers pretty much everywhere.

I buy the individually frozen ones at Costco...Nothing exciting until you add goodness!

I usually go for chicken mince. Chicken breast is really expensive just now.

I prefer free range chicken if I can get it, and I usually buy whole chickens as they are so much better value. I'll either break them down into joints and freeze them, or cook the whole chicken and freeze the leftover meat.

Any time I try to buy packaged pre-jointed chicken pieces, and then compare the price with the whole chickens, I just can't bring myself to pay that much for someone else to cut it up for me. But I'm a cheapskate.

    The cheapest ones...?

It depends on what I need them for. Casseroles and quesadillas, I use chicken breasts or tenders from the manager's special bin. If I need broth or am planning on making stews, fajitas, salads, or roasted/baked chicken, I buy the 10-lb bag of bone-in legs and thighs for about $6. For easy dinners, I buy the whole young chicken for .99/lb.
