If I don't have a toddler, where do I get one? Do I go to the park and pick one out?24

This will work so long as you don't eat THEIR leftovers8

This would also work in your favour, since food portions are controlled in prison.38 -
I thought teenagers were more effective for this.
My dogs try to help, but I don't want them fat as well.5 -
I concur with OPs tip... I usually only eat half my plate I have weighed out. As my toddler eats his food and then climbs up and eats mine...
Where to get one: many parents think of selling theirs to the circus numerous times a day... I suggest Craigslist and Kijiji....9 -
YMMV. I live with a toddler and he refuses to eat just about everything.9

Works for me! I've got four girls (18 mos to 10 years). I always take more food than I plan to eat because the kids are like locusts.7

since i dont like kids, id rather not.
ill just serve myself less, thanks....2 -
Yeah, my daughter was such a picky eater until recently (she's 10 now) that I'd always end up mindlessly eating her leftover food so it didn't go to waste. I had to learn the habit NOT to eat it and either save it or toss it.
Now she eats half of my food, and lo and behold I'm losing again!2 -
Or get a pair of teen boys. Anything remotely tempting is consumed before I can get it from the shopping bag to the refrigerator. They do leave me with all the vegetables I could ever want.15

My toddler eats as much as a grown man. Ha.0

I only have 1 of 4 that were like this. My 4 year old has to be "threatened" to eat; no picking what to watch on NetFlix if you don't eat, or no candy/icecream/cake/popcorn (whatever it is he REALLY wants if he doesn't eat his food. Yesterday, you're not running off and playing at the park if you don't eat your PB&J! And you don't get your Babybel if you don't eat all your PB&J.0

I guess that would work if you want to have your children start with very poor eating habits0

It means someone is being judgmental.7 -

My dad used to like to eat off of people's plates. I was the only one who let him do this. (This was before I counted calories though.) My brother used to pretend he was going to stab my dad with a fork if he tried to steal food.
My dad has passed away and I miss him so please no snarky comments about his habits.2 -
My Grandma never took her own plate. "I eat like a bird", said Grandma. Meanwhile, she ate everything on my Grandpa's plate so he had to get seconds.2

That explains all the grown folks running around blowing their noses on other people's sleeves.3 -

The exact opposite when I was a kid. I was always eating off my mom's plate and she would pretend to be exasperated and say I was like a baby bird.
My mother passed away last year. Sorry for your loss dear. x0 -
They make it so hard to accurately log your food though.1

Eat off a toddler size plate that has sections. Smaller plate smaller portions.0
