I can think of two for me:

1)Tomatoes - love them raw, stewed, pasta sauce, salsa, sun dried, as tomato soup ... but I despise ketchup and tomato juice.
2) Eggs - give me boiled, scrambled, over easy, over hard, poached, omelettes, quiche ... but put egg salad or deviled eggs in front of me, I gag. To me, eggs and mayo don't mix!

    Burger: okay
Moussaka: the best kind of yum
Beef chunk or steak: I can't even bring myself to chew it.

    Skinless chicken breast: okay
    Cordon Bleu: yes
Fried chicken/bone in or skin on chicken: the smell alone makes me nauseous

Eggs in all forms, including with mayo: yes
Eggnog: keep it away from me

    Oatmeal: love it
Savory oatmeal: I tried so hard to like it but I had to give up

Borscht: one of my most favorite foods of all time
    Beetroot any other way: nope.

    Coconut flavored things - yumm
    Actual coconut? Blech

or Mushroom cooked into food, or flavored - ok
Whole pieces of raw mushroom? yuck.

    Peach flavored things - good
Biting into a real peach? Not my fav.

Most of these are texture issues, really, vs. taste issues.

Glad to see I'm not the only contrary person :)

I hate mushroom soup or creamy mushroom sauces yet I love mushrooms in any other form (even raw). Maybe it's the cream that doesn't go with the mushrooms?

Banana flavoured desserts, yet I like bananas - banana muffins/banana bread isn't too bad but you can put banoffee pie, banana ice cream or banana protein shakes in the bin as far as I'm concerned.

I'm fussy about cooked cheese, so I would happily eat cheese on toast, but I hate nachos or cheesy chips (fries) - ok while the cheese is still hot and melty, but as soon as the cheese topping starts to go cold it puts me off, and I'm not keen on cheese sauces.

    Raw celery - inedible.
    Celery in casseroles - wonderful.

    Canned mushrooms - urgh.
    Fresh mushrooms - yum.

Fresh tomatoes, chunks - don't touch.
Tomato paste, passata, ketchup - versatile.

    Canned corn - disgusting.
    Fresh corn - delicious.

    Pickled beets, borsch - scary.
    Fresh, raw beets - delightful.

Peanut butter in oatmeal - destroys both peanut butter and oatmeal.
Peanut butter in almost any other combination - makes everything even better.

Hard boiled eggs - the smell, the texture :s
Soft boiled, omelette, scrambled, poached, used in cooking - eggs are so versatile.

Spinach--raw, sautéed from raw or frozen--fine. Canned?--just, no

    Oysters raw--yum! Cooked?--foul

Also, there are a lot of cheeses that I can't eat if they're not melted.

I'm surprised how many people hate raw tomatoes. When I was a kid, to ease my anxiety when I skinned a knee or had a minor cut, my mom used to say "don't worry, that's just tomato juice leaking out from all the tomatoes you eat".

I consume 1-6 pounds of raw tomatoes a day. When they're cheaper in season I eat more, less when they're more expensive.

Like raw carrots, hate cooked carrots
    Eggs=the best, unless they're hard-boiled. I can't stand hard-boiled yolks (yeah I'll eat the whites)

    .

    THIS x1000!

I love carrots. Cooked carrots, raw carrots. Hate carrot juice and the abomination that is carrot and raisin salad. Those things barely go together in carrot cake -- why would you just chuck them together in a "salad?" I did a diet in 2000 that was mostly carrot juice, and it exacerbated the hate for that product..

I enjoy orange juice like a good little Floridian, but if it has pulp... forget it. Same goes for lemonade.

Man. When tomatoes are in season I literally take a knife & salt shaker to the garden and eat raw tomatoes straight from the vine while they're still a little warm from the sunshine. One of my absolute favorite things.

Whole citrus yes, pulp-free juice yes, juice with pulp NO

Carrots ( I can stand raw...used to love until they were my last food had before a stomach bug...) but hate them cooked.

My sister will douse everything in ketchup, but hates an actual tomato. She also loves banana bread, but hates an actual banana (sugar seems to be the factor here)

All this on the carrots. What happens when you cook them? They go from crunchy, fresh loveliness to sweet and squashy. So wrong.

Fruit as a sweet - oh, yes, feed me alllllll those fruits!

Fruit as part of anything savoury? Get behind me, Satan!

Especially pineapple. Keep that nastiness off my pizza!

Grilled with a little brown sugar on it's own? Delicious.

If realized that canned mushrooms, canned spinach, or canned asparagus were actually still considered to be food, I would've put those in my initial answer.

(I like all of them very well raw - well, lightly cooked, for the asparagus, raw is meh - or cooked fresh. Frozen mushrooms are OK if one cooks them, I can eat frozen spinach, but frozen asparagus is just slimy bad.)

There used to be canned zucchini in the stores (decades ago), but I'm hoping that's faded from existence. Of all the veggies you shouldn't can . . . !
