@Look_Its_Kriss you are quickly becoming on of my favourites here, just saying.

But @jaydedmiss, you've been a favourite for a while now, and I want you to start a thread titled "What did my Aunt do to my food this week". I will seriously pay to read this.

If I ever re-think my not having friends here, you two are at the top of the list. :)

Just smiled so hard LOL. <3 you to. Ill definatly start writing down the things she says, I see her every sunday i can come back and tell y'all weekly ;D Shes never at a loss for bad opinions and stupidity.

Told you once. Old enough to be your father so stop flirting with me LOL

(Yeah, I know you aren't but give the 51 yr old gray haired dude his fantasy)

Yeah, I worked out a fair bit today and am on my 3rd glass of wine (*kitten* I had the calorie room) so feel free to ignore me.

    :)

My personal favorite highlights that lead to my imagination xD

@jaydedmiss @Look_Its_Kriss Am so glad my wife doesn't read this board......

I went to bed, did not have the 4th glass, and slept just fine.

Killed another 1000 cals snow shoeing today, so wondering how much wine I can drink tonight :)

Still want the Aunt stories though.

I smile and say no thanks, repeatedly if needed. I LOATHE it when people blame someone else for their weight gain, or lack of weight loss. Unless the person holds you down-and shoves it in your mouth then they are not 'sabotaging' your diet.

yeah no shes been truely trying to sabotage me since i started XD she also rubs butter on my food when i go to pee when we go to restaurants i had to stop drinking water before we go out just to stop her lol

Iv told her to stop and she hasnt xD

What?! That is bizarre. I'd start doing the same to her food when she goes to pee. That's the weirdest thing I've heard on MFP :o

That is so weird. I'd be more worried about food poisoning though, someone putting their hands on my food :bawling:

I don't think I've had anyone try to sabotage me on purpose. I had to have a conversation with my husband as buying me food I like = love. But not eating the chocolate is not me rejecting his affection as he was trying to do something nice, which for the first 9 years we’d known each other was the way to do it.

I also agree that when you’re watching what you eat you can become hyper aware of what you’re offered. But, they likely would have offered it to you anyway…..

I just ignore it. I know what I need to do. If they don't like it then they don't have to do it. Usually I just roll my eyes at them. Especially if they are being really rude. I have found that some really just don't know any better. They really do think it's not that bad. Sometimes it's a good reminder for me that there is such a thing as balance. If I only see that person once a month, and they want to get dessert with me. Then why not? It's once a month.

In the end though, you know what you can or can't eat. You know if you can handle a little treat and go right back to being strict or not. Other people may be jealous. Or they may really not know any better. But you are the one in control of your response to both. It can be a little annoying. But the best part is when you see your results happening. And then you get to feel good about yourself and maybe get to flaunt it a little too. ;)
