The soundtrack of Annie with the original Broadway cast is one of my favorites. Wish I'd seen the show with the original cast. The late Dorothy Loudon as Miss Hannigan was perfection. I saw the national touring company and it was still good.

ETA - the movie Hair with Treat Williams, John Savage and Beverly D'Angelo and the film Oliver! based on Oliver Twist tie for my two favorite movie musicals. The child actor who played Oliver singing Where is Love? Just the thought of it gives me goose bumps. It's got to be the finest performance and rendition of that beautiful song.

Omg where is love is such a beautiful song same with as long as he needs me. Both are so haunting . I'm sure I saw a revival of thst in London once.

I could listen to the Sonia Swaby rendition of As Long as He Needs Me over and over and over and over....

Someone mentioned Mary Poppins. I didn't even think about Disney movies, most of which are musicals.

Beauty and the Beast is tops on that list.

If Disney counts then you can add pretty much all of them to my list.

I adore Beauty and the Beast.

Anyone seen Urinetown? One of the most underrated, hilarious musicals ever! Also can't seem to get Hairspray songs out of my head lately.

I never got to see it professionally, but my college theatre program performed it! It was actually hilarious; unfortunately, I missed auditions for it. Hairspray songs are addictive, and it was awesome on Broadway. My favorites are definitely Rent and Joseph. I never got to see Spring Awakening, Next to Normal, Book of Mormon, or JCS live professionally, but I do enjoy the music. I got to be in Pittsburgh Productions of Phantom and Seussical which were a lot of fun.

Both are now live action theatre, too. I haven't seen MP on stage, but going by the soundtrack, it's been expanded to include some episodes from P.L. Travers' second book about her, Mary Poppins Comes Back. New songs include:

    Practically Perfect
    Cherry Tree Lane
    Being Mrs. Banks
    Temper, temper
    Brimstone and Treacle
    Anything Can Happen

    And they've revised:

    Supercalifragilistic
    Jolly Holiday
    Step In Time
    Chim Chim Cher-ee

    and most of the others.
