Hi!!! Just to give you a short synopsis I started off being 105 lbs (I'm 5'1) & was this weight naturally for many years up until I turned 19... Then my thyroid gave out & metabolism flatlined.
(I'm 27 now)
I am now up 60+ lbs and have yo yo dieted more than Kirstie Allie lol...
Low carb and exercise is the only thing I have found in the past (3 years ago) that really changed my life and worked for me being hypothyroid/ Hypoparathyroid.
Like literally nothing.else.worked.
It's gotten to the point where I hide from pictures at family gatherings, and can't seem to find anything that fits right besides leggings. I'm pretty much done and ready to make a lifestyle change.
This is the second time I have embarked on my low carb journey, I feel so much better and have much more energy when I do it and my health improves naturally ....anyone else benefit from low carb in more ways than just weight loss?
Encouragement/ motivation is so key in sticking with this, so any comments would be awesome
Any tips / advice is much appreciated !!!!

I'm 3 years keto and have lost 85lbs with about another 5 or so to go.
If you're doing this way of eating for health reasons you could check out this group on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/OKL4Vitality/ they have a group on mfp too http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/23653-okl-living1 -
My story is sooo similar to yours! I'm 5'1" too and was 105 my whole life until I had my son at 20. Now I'm 158, down from 182, I'm aiming for 90,8,2 lchf, to keep my ketosis strong.
I've noticed I feel horrible too if I have any carbs and I'm sick of hiding pictures of myself, untagging pictures I find of my whole body.
Hopefully we can support each other on here, I'd love to be able to wear shorts again someday!1
