Just curious how many people incorporate sweets into their diet? I make sure I have at least 150 to 200 calories a day set back for something sweet.

I don't purposely save calories, but if I have some at the end of the day I have some Mars bites.5

I budget for chocolate every day.12

I have fruit every afternoon, and dessert every night.
ETA: I have to leave slightly more than 150-200 calories for dessert...6 -
I eat what I like, which definitely includes sweet stuff. I eat dessert most every night, of some kind, usually chocolate. I dont usually prelog, but I do have it in mind.
There is no bad food by itself, just "too much food" is bad. Moderation in all things. Im not going to skip certain categories of food (that I like), because eventually I will expect to go back to it, and I dont want that to undo what Im doing. In the end maintenance should be the same as what I eat now, just hopefully a little more of it.5 -
I eat chocolate covered pretzels every day...as well as some mini Mr goodbars most days.4
-
A handful of M&Ms every single night3
-
I have mini marshmallows and mini chocolate chips (150-200 calories) almost every night.2

Sweets, especially chocolate, are not important to me so I don't budget them, but I am on maintenance so I just don’t budget anything anymore. Usually on Friday's my husband and I go out for coffee and we share a muffin or a scone; our deserts are mostly fruit with cottage cheese or Fage and sometimes sugar free ice cream. But I do have in my fridge Jell-O pudding cups to mix things up if I want to.0

At least twice a day.2

Sugar free orange jello and whipped cream. Every day!3

Yes. I always keep something little around that I can grab and eat a partial serving of when I get a craving. You can get big bins of little mini packs of mini gummy bears on Amazon.1

I've bought chocolate covered pretzels twice, and both times i gutsed down the whole packet for just under 1000 calories each time. Those things are officially banned from my house!

I have something sweet everyday. Sometimes multiple times a day.

I am planning to go have some mini éclairs right now and will still probably have about 100 calories left to fill. I try to leave at least a few hundred calories for them every day.2

Always! Usually twice. After lunch I'll have a little something and then after dinner. It makes me want to be healthy all day so I can have a treat at the end of the day.2

I buy smaller ones. 7 or 8 are like 130 calories. I usually eat 10 haha. If I buy the big ones...those are trouble lol.2 -
Since I hit my goal weight, I incorporate "treats" into my diet and routine. Treats are anything that's throw away calories. Generally I want homemade or super-special sort of things for treats - I want them to be worth it. Every once in a while a "treat" is complete garbage calories like a Burger King A-! Baconator Burger. Sometimes it's Ben and Jerry's. Usually it's a homemade treat - like Cheesecake made from scratch1

When I want them I have them.2

For sure! I leave room for a little something everyday. Currently savoring 1 Schar lemon wafer every evening after dinner. So good! Was short on calories and protein today so just had 1/2 a NuGo Stronger Protein Bar...Cookies and Cream. Whew ...it was sweet. Felt like I had 2 sweet treats today. I guess I basically did!2
-
Me too. I've drastically cut down on my chocolate consumption but I have to have some everyday or I know I'll fail at this. I try to keep it under 150 calories.2
-
Yes. Usually either peanut m&ms or ice cream.2

I make most of my own candy and sweets. It's a fun challenge to figure out how to make store-bought goodies at home without using nasty-tasting corn syrup and reducing the sugar I've had to learn how to measure my fudges in smaller portions to get the 200-calorie target, but it's sooo worth it2

I had peanut m&m's for dinner.8

I buy the snickers 100 calorie bars and keep them in the freezer. I had 2 today.1

Yes! Always some dark chocolate, most days a protein bar or Larabar with chocolate. We usually have some kind of cookie around--right now it's Girl Scouts Samoas. I budget for one a day until they're gone. Weekends I might have more. Last weekend I did a long run and then we got ice cream at Kilwin's. Tonight my daughter had a slumber party at a friend's house, so I got our boys some special treats to eat with their movie this evening. So of course I had to sample the peanut butter cups and chocolate covered sunflower seeds from a Trader Joe's!2

yep, a few pieces of dark chocolate a few times a week. And homemade cocoa powder/peanut butter pudding. Otherwise I will overeat it if I try and restrict myself entirely. Other sweets aren't really worth the calories for me so I very rarely eat them....just special occasions, usually when I visit my family.0
