I eat chocolate almost every single day. I'm down 18 pounds this year.
OP calories are what matter for weight loss. If your treat fits into your calorie deficit then you will continue losing. And don't feel guilty - it's just food.1 -

OP, the idea that you can't eat this or that food when you're losing weight is a story spread by people who want to monetise the obesity epidemic by selling diet books, diet plans, diet foods and diet supplements. It is nonsense, and so is anything else which tries to make weight loss more complicated than a 5 year old could understand.
Weight loss is just a matter of eating a little bit less. Not a lot less, as that will make you hungry, miserable, binge-prone and deficient in nutrients. Just a little bit less than the amount that would keep you at a steady weight. That is all there is to it.
All the subtleties about meal timing, macro balance, to snack or not to snack, to abstain or moderate - those are all just about managing hunger and making it easier to eat a little bit less. Is it easy to lose weight? No, the psychological battle is real and for most of us takes time and self knowledge to start winning. But is it simple to lose weight? Yes. It's simple. As simple as 2+2.

Op lose the guilt it's quite freeing. Food is food some worth eating often others occasionally or in low quantities.2

This thread inspired me to have a chiradelli chocolate square... it was delicious! Caramel filling... 70 cal.
I've actually been keeping a few sweets hidden (otherwise kids would eat them in a day) for when I want them. This way I have something available that is small but will take care care of the urge, but not mess up my day. Also helps to not feel like I'm on a diet.
I also love carbs! Today, I hit the 20lb mark.1
