Once when I was 10 and my grandmother took me to a funeral of a man I didnt know. I later found out he grew up with her children. His family was very poor so she'd have him over for dinner often and send extra food to school with her children for him at lunch.
Ive avoided the casket of any family members funerals I've attended over the years.0 -
Everyday I look inthe mirror2

In fact,I dressed a 500 lb man and put him in a casket today.
... that sounds difficult.0 -
It's an honor to keep company with someone as they pass. Especially if it's someone you love and especially if it's a natural death (whatever that means). I've done that a couple of times. There's sadness in the death but no horror at the body in those cases.
I had the honor of being with both of my grandmas as they passed. I had such a peace afterwards....1 -
Yes, but always on purpose, never by accident. Sometimes I wish I could see and talk to ghosts. Nice ones, of course.0
-
Yes, at visitations and funerals many times.
Other than that I have not seen a dead body in person... just photos or video.1 -
Yes, but I've seen far more dead animals (used to be an euthanasia technician).0
-
Yea
Also many ghosts0 -
No, and I'm well annoyed about that.0

Mad Re5pext for simply using the word 'homeslice' in a reply.

Yes, first time it was someone I didn't know. An ex thought a funeral was a place to take your gf to. He even wanted me to poke the lady and I was like O_O no. Then my older sister died and I could see the stitches (or something) where they held her lips closed. I would have liked not seeing that.0

Yup, tried to remove him from the wreckage, didn't know he was dead at the time, just knew he was in need of help. Unfortunately the fire forced me away from the wreckage before i could remove him. He had one eye that was grey and one that was green. He was going the wrong way on the interstate after a day binge drinking. He killed an innocent guy on the way home to see his family. The innocent mans hand was all that was visible from his wrecked truck.0

Yeah, unfortunately.0
