Took these while working the stairs in Bisbee, AZ. (Not the Bisbee 1000 but the same route; the event isn't for a few more weeks.

Technically this isn't an outdoor excursion; I took the picture from my living room.

I climbed, I hiked with my board strapped to my back and no surf :|

    Very cool !

Thanks. It is beautiful there, hard to access, no people..I really needed a good, long surf session today..I haven't been sleeping and it helps to turn my racing mind off..I totally misread the tides today..next time

Do you go alone , hiking and surfing ?

Mostly, it's my preference..I don't like sharing the waves..this way I can ride the length of a full curl which is incredible. I do join in with the circuits overseas in places like Bali, Bora Bora, Australia etc. it's a good way to catch up with old friends.

Arent you afraid of the sharks ?

Haahah well yes and no, I am wary of them but I am in their territory so..I am more afraid of 'land sharks' :p

Jake No-Shoulders decided he wanted to hunker down on my carport. A push broom helped persuade him to find a more suitable spot.

Oh my goodness and I thought my snake was scary ... you win for sure !

Your snake was pretty cool and from what I could tell probably non-venomous.

Mine is a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake. I'm not scared of them, but I do respect the hazard they present and work to keep them away from the house.

A prickly pear cactus in bloom near my house. When it fruits out it'll be pokey and delicious.

And here is one from last July. There must be a couple dozen lakes/reservoirs around where I live.
