Bernini's Rape of Porsepine -- The whole sculpture is incredible and can be seen at the Boughesi Gallery in Rome (go there at least once in your life). But look at the of the indentions made in her flesh. Looking at it in person, one swears it is fully allive.

These two are in a current exhibition of Latin-American artists at a museum I volunteer at.
You can see every individual hair on this girl’s head in this exquisite graphite drawing by Franklin Delgado
And this one by Melvin Toledo just tickles the hell out of me (besides being technically well done):
There’s some really interesting pieces in this exhibition.1 -
“Portrait of Madame X”
John Singer Sargent (1883)

She passed in the 20’s. Nice painting, but has a distinctly 60’s flavor to it. Love the Renoirs.
Check out this guy’s stuff:

I went down the rabbit hole today after seeing this piece:
My dad, who was a character, had me check my boots every morning for snakes and spiders. It took me years to outgrow the habit and I still do, if the shoes have been out in the garage, lol. I would love to have a print of that.1 -

Love it! 😊
I check my shoes every single time.
The Cassatt painting does have a 60s vibe.
