It helps me sleep better, it helps control my blood sugar, and it gives me energy! The more BRAGG'S Organic Raw ACV with the mother I have, the better I feel! And YES, it does help with weight loss! The video in the link above explains why.

I have worked up to having 2 tablespoons ACV, 1/2 lemon, and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper in a glass of water first thing in the morning; at night, about an hour before bed, I have 1 T ACV with 1/2 lemon, but no cayenne. If needed, you can also add some honey for flavor, but I never needed/wanted that. Raw, unprocessed honey is the healthiest. I recommend the brand Really Raw Honey (in a glass jar, rather than plastic).

BE SURE TO RINSE YOUR TEETH WITH JUST PLAIN WATER VERY WELL AFTERWARDS because of the acidity!

@mjpreece1 -- just because a video says something doesn't mean it actually does what they say.
I could make a youtube video saying that eating Fajita seasoning caused me to stop absorbing fat in my food, but that doesn't make me right

@Look_Its_Kriss -- You're absolutely right, but you should watch the video before you comment!

It's a very reliable science-based source by a licensed physician and internationally recognized speaker on nutrition, food safety, and public health issues. The website also ensures that the research results are appropriately disseminated to the medical profession. Had you watched the video, you would know that it references double-blind studies; you can't get much better than that!

I stand by the legitimacy of my post as it will help, rather than hinder, others' weight loss progress.

Appropriately enough, a little reading on Dr. Greger turns up that he's a staunch vegan advocate who is known for cherry-picking medical research to support his agenda. And that "nutritionfacts.org" is HIS website and was formerly known as the "Vegan Research Institute". He has made guest appearances on Dr. Oz and it seems there are some in the medical community who consider him quite the crackpot.

[ETA:] It seems that sciencebasedmedicine.org doesn't think much of him either: https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/death-as-a-foodborne-illness-curable-by-veganism/

The peer-reviewed double-blind studies that he cites are still legitimate, regardless of opinions; the studies are not HIS studies.

<shrug> It's your body. If you want to believe ACV is a magic potion, enjoy it to your heart's content.

Nope, not a magic potion, just scientific fact.

You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts. ;)

THESE ARE NOT MY "OWN FACTS!"

@mjpree the truth's beyond even a doctor's personal bias, their professional opinions're for; sale as well!

Here's a transcript of, a Dateline episode I once saw when; it was on television but am currently unable to, find the episode itself; to watch!

Nope, it's not a short cut or a secret weapon for weight loss. Is there some sort of media blitz?

It only helps with the bloat, if you try it 3 times per day you will expell more water, but add more carbs into diet.

I remember someone posting something of people dying due to Apple cider vinegar consumption. Hopefully they'll see this and repost it.

You just need to look up David "avocado" Wolfe's theories on chocolate to know all you need to know about the money grabbing fruit loop.

Bloat? You mean gas? I know what happens to me when I have gas. Lol. Expel water? the body is approximately 65% water. Water is good! Do you mean body fat? ACV does nothing for body fat. I wish it were that easy.

I love apple cider vinegar to add flavor to recipes and it gives you all the same benefits it always has. People have this whole thing all backwards - Eating crap HINDERS fat loss, having bad intestinal flora HINDERS fat loss, having unhealthy ailments like candida and too much sugar all the time HINDERS fat loss. So of course eating healthy and including probiotic foods and fermented foods and produce and things from the farm, including apple cider vinegar helps promote fat loss when you eat the right amount of everything. Nothing new here.

Yeah, but they're so far removed from being backed by science that it's not funny. Stop relying on blogs and magazines that give horrible insights to "what men really want" and "how to achieve the BEST orgasm everrrrrr", and even more horrible information on diet and nutrition.

What I posted has nothing to do with blogs, magazines, "what men really want" and the other BS you said. I posted something that refers to a legitimate peer-reviewed double-blind study (that means backed by science, BTW) that can be found in many medical journals. Maybe you have my comments confused with something else?

I'm shocked he's not been locked in a padded cell. My brain is melting.

Bit of trivia though. As crazy as he is, he is pronouncing 'cacao' correctly. Cocoa is more processed than cacao.

I guess everyone wants something for nothing. Bad news. You have to put in the work to get what you want. One single thing did not make you gain weight. No one thing will make you lose it.

Excuse me that was not my intentions. Just wanted more info on it. I have work my *kitten* off. you can keep you rude comments off my post and that goes to everyone.

Then take the credit for what you've accomplished instead of giving it to a salad dressing.

Sorry. It was not directed at you. You came and asked a question. Then others started chiming in and preaching their religion backed up by blogs and magazine articles. I apologize.
