    IMMEDIATE dial turn on the radio when those songs come on.



    I was thinking the exact same thing.

    Oh yeah come and get it is the lamest song and most annoying voice ever. I tend to cringe at nasally voices in general. That's why I hate that mark and ken show, or whatever.

    My oldest who no longer lives here (Thank GAWD, both my youngest and I say!) Finds some song that's usually a couple of months old and decides she LOVES LOVES LOVES it and plays it OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

    AND OVER

    So there're other songs I hate because of that! Too many to list really.

    I hate all of today's mainstream hits that are being played on the radio. I also hate "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix A Lot.

    Awww...I actually like "Baby Got Back" for some stupid reason...except for the one time when it was played at my cousin's wedding reception and I was standing with my VERY straight-laced conservative parents. I was horribly uncomfortable because of the lyrics then realized they probably couldn't make out any of the words anyway. :laugh:


    We actually played TWO versions of "Baby Got Back" at our wedding- the original and an acoustic version by Jonathon Coulton (you may have heard it BLATANTLY PLAGIARIZED on Glee). The best part was that the minister who performed our ceremony was dancing to the JoCo version with his wife for almost the entire song before he realized *what* exactly he was listening to.

    @ ellederry - OMG, love anything by Bruno! Also, crazy over Fix you... just the sound of her voice, interesting if she can do a follow -up. I Love it is just plain fun -- makes me want to get up and move it, move it!!:laugh:

    What song do I absolutely detest..... Gagnaum Style {Yep, probably spelled incorrectly] but you get the idea and Sexy and I know it! Overkill on both, although I thought they were quite fun for a bit!

    @nave - I'm typically a Bruno girl but this song just rubs me the wrong way for some reason, no idea what it is! It Will Rain and When I Was Your Man are my Bruno faves, I guess I'm more of a love song kind of girl! :)

    My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion. She sets my teeth on edge.

    Second this. I cannot even hear this tune without picturing her thumping her chest and trying to figure out what the problem is with the diction. She was so much better when singing in French.
