The two things that have helped me get this far are reading Geneen Roth's books "Breaking Free from Emotional Eating" and "Why Weight", they have helped me eat more mindfully and get out of the self criticism and restrictive diets that led me to balloon up to 254 pounds in the first place. The second thing is a gym membership! A good friend and I became workout buddies and it has made the process much more fun!
You just have to do it because you love yourself. You can do this!5 -

Congratulations!!! You're looking fabulous and great of course but I also want to say bravo to you for making your goal happen despite struggling with binge eating and compulsive eating. I know the pain that comes with these two in particular. Even now that I reached my "goal-weight" I gain and lose 5-10 pounds because of compulsive eating. None of these behaviors, however, are permanent if we choose. We have the strength to change it
